Ik ben gek op fantasy, paarden en Photoshop. Laat dat nou net goed te combineren zijn.
Een tijdje geleden heb ik een nieuw Instagram account aangemaakt (CreaturesbyCaptain) voor deze bewerkingen maar ik wilde ze ook hier graag laten zien.
Bij elke creatie heb ik een klein verhaaltje geschreven,
in het Engels om het bereik op Instagram te vergroten.
Op de foto's rust copyright en mogen dus niet zonder toestemming ergens gebruikt worden.

The Equus Dentium Or also known as the 'hairy tooth fairy' is a kind but creepy looking creature. It lives on the prairie where its diet consists of scorpions and snakes which he has to find between the rock formations and shallow caves. The Equus Dentium has a long tongue, around twice the size of a normal horses tongue, in order to catch its prey. The big teeth are necessary to crush the armor of the scorpions. The Equus Dentium is immune for the poison of its prey. The teeth fall out on a regular basis but they grow back within 2/3 days, just like the teeth mechanism of sharks. The Equus Dentium has large eyes in order to see in the dark, the animals on the prairie mainly come out at night because of the heat during daytime.

The Psychopompus Maris Or also known as the Horse of Neptune, is a mythical creature and is claimed to be seen several times by sailors all around the world. A Psychopompus is an entity who assist deceased souls to the afterlife, in this case the souls of the marine animals and sailors who died on the sea. According to legends, only one Psychopompus exist and it is not male nor female. It can appear on the surface but also deep down at the sea bottom. Sailors who've claimed to saw it, became permanently blind and are haunted in their dreams.

The Equitatu Desertum Or also known as the 'King of the desert' is a creature who lives in the hills of the Sahara desert. During the day, the temperatures can increase up to 50 degrees. These creatures can drink over 50 liters per time and after drinking, can last 5 days without water. The horns of the Equitatu Desertum can grow up to 1 meter and are used during fights. Female Equitatu Desertums generally give birth to twins, and usually only one survives because of the heavy conditions in the desert. Equitatu Desertum can be confused with the Oryx Gazella but they do not have white legs and have a larger tail.

The Paedagogus Or also known as the 'Spirit Leader' is a mythical creature who is claimed to be seen by people all around the world who were lost and desperately looking for directions. Apparently, the Paedagogus appeared in the sky and guided the persons to civilized places. All persons described the same creature: a flying unicorn with luminous eyes whose body end evaporates.
