nein, das ist Bob selber
also Tom Price soll gesagt haben das Bob der Grossvater von Guinness ist
die Zigeuner nennen weniger wichtige Hengste oder Stuten oft "sohn von..." um die Blutlinien zu deuten
der Vater von Guinness soll also ein Sohn von Bob sein, aber welcher...?
Er meinte auch, dieser Sohn von Bob würde seinem Vater unheimlich ähnlich sehen
das ist aber gerade der Haken, weil das hiesse, das der Vater von Guinness kein Schecke wäre (weil Bob kein Schecke ist) und das kann gar nicht
denn Guinness ist reinerbig Tobiano Schecke, das heisst sowohl seine Mutter als auch sein Vater Müssen beide Schecken gewesen sein.

Bob the Blagdon is definitley not his sire. We have Guiness in the database and there is no full match on him and any of the other stallions in the database. His match with Bob the Blagdon is on only 13 markers which means nothing... it's really a result that gives you nothing to go on. 13 markers can mean he is his grandsire, but it could also mean nothing. Normally you'd expect a match on at least 13 markers for grandparent-grandchild. So it's just borderline.

I do have to say I don't see a lot of other Bob the Blagdon offspring matching high with Guiness and that makes me wonder if Guiness is really related to him.

Unless we get DNA of his real sire it will be difficult to find out more about his pedigree. Especially without DNA of his dam.

Danielle ... Ik vroeg weer! Bob de Blagdon werd genomen als een DNA-grootvader .... negatief is en dus niet kan bob zijn zoon van zijn vader!
Dani stuurt me een foto van Guinness met zijn moeder ... maar je zou dood moeten zijn!
Kan ik een nakomeling van Smarties Mare maken van een DNA dan de helft van dochter of zoon half ..... zijn moeder te vinden?
