Most, if not all MMORPGs have a similar tool, so now we’re bringing Star Stable in line with other online games. None of our players are at risk from hacking as a result of this tool if you’re all certain to keep your password details secret. Hackers cannot access our servers or your accounts. Your account is secure as long as you protect your own password, because when players share their password information with other people, or have a very easy to guess password, other people can get into your account and sell horses and spend Star Coins.
Sharing your password information not only puts you at risk from people who want to ruin your account, but is also against Star Stable rules and can get you banned from the game. You should always keep your password totally secret, and if you're worried about your account being accessed by someone else, change your password to something new and safe and secret.
Our system makes it impossible to return a sold horse, or sold gear which means it’s extra important to keep the Star Stable password safe since it's up to each player to look after their own account. If you give away your password and someone messes things up for you, it's your responsibility. Star Stable cannot help you replace horses or Star Coins that have been lost as a result of having given away your password.
When it comes to bullying as a result of the information on display in the tool, we advise you to take part in creating an environment in the game that is filled with care and respect, and to remind your fellow players that allowing everyone to play with dignity is a key part of the Star Stable experience, and that bullying will not be tolerated. If anyone says anything to you or your friends that is unkind or hurtful, report them to Customer Support and we’ll always be happy to help figure out a way to solve the problem.
