mom and baby are healthy, but baby is not quite getting the whole nursing thing...we are working on it!

She finally got it!
Thanks everyone for all the congrats. Shes a cutie, lookd JUST like her grandma, lady. Same star and sock even! Lucy was waiting for me to midwife I think. She was just standing around all afternoon and I decided it was time to pick out her stall. I went out and she whinnied at me like 'its about time'. I clened her stall and was petting her and she started moving around and lifting her tail so I actually grabbed a chair and sat right in her doorway. Within 5 minutes her water broke. They say when folaing time comes the foal picks the day but the mare picks the hour to foal. Lucy just really wanted me there. Well all we have left to do is the enema whcih we are going to do as soon as Kris finishes her lesson. Then tomorrow am we will do the foaling check plus someother breeding stuff that I already had scheduled. Missy and Dolly need to get ultrasounded to see if I need to order Semen for them and Stella needs to be checked to see if shes ovulated and do a post breeding infusion on her and then on Saturday Gutchi gets to be preg checked!
I lovet he foaling and breeding season, so much life happening!!

Ik had gisteravond laat al zoiets gelezen bij de cam van Goldie. Maar mijn engels is niet zo goed, dus heb geen berichtje geplaatst.
Moet weer aant werk, de baby's willen de fles
