Ze vergeet alleen dat Sepp bij haar op het kleine weitje staat en dat ze hem wel kan zien

Oh en ze drupt weer....

Probleempje, door de mist kan ik haar ook niet zien als ze buiten loopt dus dan moet ik maar vertrouwen op de birth alarm.
Als ze gaat rollen oid dan hoor ik het wel en ga dan maar even buiten kijken wat er gebeurt.

Well, Ms Lacey is holding on, she is trying to stay as still as possible tonight, not sure if it is cause it is so cold, or she is uncomfortable and doesn't want to move.

Bree is still at a stand still, was hoping she would pick up on her own, vet is going to give her till Tuesday to start something then they are going to come check her to find out what is going on!!

Do you want to know about the girls? Amy's temp is lower than it was this a.m. @ 99.7 and Robins was higher @100. According to information my girlfriend was reading about, it is supposed to mean something if the evening temp is lower than the morning temp. In any case I think that Amy is real close and can still go at anytime. Robin I feel still has a while yet.

Both girls will be monitered closely until they foal.

Well I have nothing new to report. she is the same. But the weather has changed it is extremely cold, sunny but cold. So I am glad she is not foaling in this weather.
Everyone have a great day. Also Rose was bred last night to "More Than Terrific" now to wait to see if she takes.

Nou, dan ga ik toch maar slapen in de hoop dat macy mij niet aftroeft.
Ben nu versleten

Gisteren 3,5 uur geslapen vannacht gewerkt en gecamstaard en nu nog ff de konijnen, cavia´s en ratten schoongemaakt (9 hokken), dus ik heb mijn rust wel verdiend.
Tot vanmiddag allemaal

She has access to the stall she will foal in now. Once her bag finishes filling I'll start locking her in at night and put the cam on the stall too. I can't wait either, I've wanted a mule out of her for many, many years.

ms casey will be in today since its only 17 out...she is not a happy camper at all went in to check her this morning and she let us know real fast visitors not welcomed at all geesh one cranky mare out there today....we will try to check her later right now giving her all the space she wants lol...she is being watched so if we feel she is upto something ill let u guys know

Dawn is at day 350, which is longer than she has ever gone before. She doesn't usuially show a lot of signs. Last year she waxed a few hours before foaling, but in 2003 no wax. Her bag is full, but I don't think she is quite soft enough in the hind end to foal tonight. She could go any time though.

Dawn is a ten year old AQHA mare "Dawn With Dignity." She is bred to Skippers Duplicate at http://www.kmkpainthorses.com. Dawn has had three foals before, a red dun mare in 2000, a dun colt (Dusty) in 2003 and a palomino dun filly (Shiner) in 2005.

We have wax!!!
Just a little bit, but when she waxed last year, Dawn foaled that very night. Somaybe tonight will finally be the night.

Well, wax fell off and her bag shrank down a bit while she was outside today, so??? It has gone back up a bit just since I brought her in, and she has another teeny tiny bit of wax on one teat. Maybe tonight, maybe not. She was a bit agitated all morning, thrashing her tail and pacing. And she did quite a lot of laying down last night and this morning.

Saturday Eve Update On Dixie, not quite 5 yet
She is just as ready as she can be physically. I can't see anything on her that puts me in doubt but she's still not testing a 5. That could change very quickly however so we're watching her 24/7. I'll check her again later this evening and if there is a change we'll let you know.

Cat’s Predict-a-Foal test results - 9:00pm, 2/18 = 4+ squares changed within 40 seconds.
Milk is becoming whiter and more opaque.

More filling in her nipples (which are pointing straight down for the 2nd day.) Milk is whiter and more opaque and expresses a lot more easily. It's been thick and sticky all week.

4th day in a row we get 4+ squares turning pink before the minute is up on the test... the last square is more of a pink with a soft green center - not all the way to pink, but a definate change in the color.

Brenda was sleeping in the stall this morning, but it's back to me being up off and on all night, with my trusty cellphone alarms going off through the night (note to self - make better ringtones!)

I can't wait for the "equipage" alarm system to arrive - it'll tell me each time a mare lays flat out - the false alarms you just check the monitor to see what's going on and reset it and go back to sleep... the real thing you get up and go. It'll save quite a bit of wear and tear on my aging body and brain, I hope! Laughing
