Morning up date, we lost the foal early this morning, he was doing well when I was out at 3am, sucked good on the syringe, then at 6 am mike went out and said he could not get much into him and that he seemed to take a turn for the worse, and so we feared we were losing him, mike justcalled from the barn and said he had passed away, I think about how much hope we had and he was so beautiful and tiny and perfect, Just never really got a good start from birth, but wanted to thank everyone for their moral support,

I am heartbroken to have to report that Raki's very beautiful little filly had problems and was not able to stand. There was nothing we could do for her so the most loving and humane thing we could do was put her down. This is a very sad day for us and your good wishes and prayers mean so much to all of us here. My friend Lora was half owner in this filly and it was her first experience so my heart breaks for her, too. Raki is doing well physically so we just have to let her mourn her loss.

Die heeft trouwens een mooi veulen gekregen zeg Was haar even aan het volgen, maar heb de bevalling gemist en ben hele dag niet online geweest Wie weet wat het geslacht is?

She has only lain twice. Both times early on and for only about 15 minutes each. She hasn't been down since around midnight. She just can't seem to figure out how to fold her legs. Hard to believe considering she's been folded for at least a couple months now. Rolling on floor laughing If she doesn't figure it out soon we will try to help her. Both have pooped and peed. Vet sometime between 12 and 2 hopefully. Lace tore just a little and is bleeding lightly but nothing I'm concerned about.

Both of her eyes are some shade of blue but I can't tell if they're baby cream blues or true blue yet. I strongly suspect just baby creams but I'll try to tell later.
