Als je naar de eerste pagina van Mare stare gaat, dan zie je onderaan de lijst Brandi staan.Hierop klkken en je hebt de site. Vervolgens klik je op pop up cam.En de cam van Brandi gaat open.Ze is klein en zwart Haha!

Her milk is whiter but the pH is up now, its at about 7.6 now. The hardness is the same somewhere between 150 and 300. She has wax again. same old, same old...

Update Megan:

I just made a special trip to the barn to read the forum messages to Megan. She rolled her lip in a grin and continued munching hay. I don't see any major changes. The only major change left is for the foal to be on the outside tongue.gif

I have to go to work tomorrow too!! A good nights sleep dream ing of a gorgeous new foal in the barn would be sooooo nice.

Megan, love, don't feel pressured but would you please lay down and push!!!!!!!!!!!I offered to find an Italian Stallion to help do lamaze breathing last year for Pony Girl and she got serious and foaled. Megan do you need a hee, hee,who.who partner??

Stay tuned, maybe she will have pity on us working folks and deliver.

Update Lacie:
Whew what an evening. We had a hail storm. Golfball and almost baseball sized hail. I ran to the barn hoping not to get hit. Lacie about took out the barn door to get out. It sounded like bombs hitting the metal barn roof. Shiner didn't touch his dinner. All is over now and the moon and stars are shining. Go figure.

Update Brandi:
Brandi is testing the same on the strips, the ph is back up to 7.2 (gotta be the supplements) BUT - her milk is thickening up and has a yellow tinge...so we're progressing!!! Yeah. Remember her due date is 2/18 for 320 days. Maybe we'll see that foal soon.

Well Rain has made some BIG changes today Her bag is full and tight and I got milk to test her She tested 4.5 squares in 30 seconds, She is very relaxed in the backend. We are watching her very close Foxy has made no changes. Thanks for watching. Who will foal first Rain Or Brandi It would be neat if they both foaled the same day

Update Goldie:
Goldie, our very large guest, is continuing to make us wonder how long she can hold off before having this foal. I really do not see any changes in her bag and her milk strip test has remained the same for several days ( 2.5 ). She is taking forever to eat her meals ( probably no room in there for much food at a time ) and has been lying down more than usual last night and today. I honestly don't know if she will make sudden changes or if we are still days away from foaling. I know she has to be miserable and will be happy to not have such a load to carry.

Update Bobbi, Cruella, Megan & Ruby:
Well...it's going to be a long evening for me and hopefully "good." No, the baby isn't missing. That's not Mandy. It's Bobbi. Bobbi is Mandy's mother! And yes, Bobbi is NOT due until 4/5 by our 342 calculations. BUT! Bobbi doesn't know that. I think I mentioned a few days ago that Bobbi was already making a bag...which confused us a bit but then Bobbi tends to be a 10 month mare. She just doesn't believe in the old 342 rule that is the average gestation of most mares. Whats more, going back in our records, she bred on the foal heat and the 30 day. Now we are wondering if she stood for the stallion after she was actually bred? I guess the answer is, we just don't know. The April 5 date is based on 342 from her last breeding date. Even as a ten month mare that would put her around March 5?...so there are a couple of logical explanations.
1) She was indeed bred on her foal heat and stood for the stallion at the 30 day anyway.
2) She was bred on the 30 day and may have a premature foal for what ever reason.
3) That one of the yearlings may have been nursing off her???
I doubt that last one as I've not seen any signs of it.

Bobbi is relaxed in the posterior and she has thick white milk. Her bag is not huge but her nipples are filled out and she was dripping some.
We can only hope that this will be a full term viable foal. Bobbi is not one to have ever had foaling problems but then there is always a mare every year that seems to like to challenge us...and our sleep. I'll be up watching her tonight.
The other mares are not going to be as far behind as maybe we thought. Cruella, who is due the 1st of next month looks like she may go early. Megan is progressing quite nicely and even Ruby is coming along. WOW! Every year certainly holds it's surprises!

February 12

Honey

I watched her for most of last night as she seemed pretty restless. She was stomping her rear legs a lot, kicking her belly, biting her sides and giving every indication that she was going to foal. I should know by now that it's going to take more than one night of her doing that before she'll be ready to actually follow through. Last year she waxed and dripped milk off and on for two weeks prior to foaling. So far...no wax..no dripping. Her udder is very full and the teats are engorged. I did a milk test and it's still testing like it will be at least a few days away. I don't expect her to foal tonight but will set my alarm to check on her periodically.

Twinkie

Her udder has increased in size a little. She spent last night laying down and sleeping frequently, and didn't seem to be very uncomfortable. I'll check on her during the night, too...but I don't expect that she'll foal within the next couple of weeks. She could still surprise me, though. It wouldn't be the first time one of these maiden mares tried that!

Twister

She still doesn't have much of an udder. She seems very comfortable and is just kind of hanging out and eating a lot. I'm still thinking it will be at least 2 - 3 weeks before she foals.

Ragdoll

Sweet Ragdoll is still hanging onto her baby and by the looks of things will have a full-term foal again this year. She's happy as a clam in her stall and enjoys all the loving and attention she gets.

Barbie

I've turned Barbie's cam off for now. She's still not looking pregnant. If she is the one who aborted the fetus last Fall (and then bred back right away) it will be at least September before she foals. She will be going home to Bobbie's on Friday. I will check her often when she is back at her home and will bring her back if anything changes. If she is carrying a baby, and is due in the Fall, she will be on cam here at FNB Ranch for the foaling.

Nothing new to report with any of them. They are all maintaining. Honey's milk strip test is still the same, so not tonight!
