Update van Belle en Georgia:
First Georgia, ya shes still being a little brat but doing very good other than that. She wants outside to run around but can't at this time. She was getting real upset for 4-5 hours while Belle was out in the isle getting her feet taken care of and the little one didn't like that at all. It sounds like Tracey will have to start bottle, or bucket feed until Belle's milk comes back. She's showing some interest already trying the hay, and other feed of Belle's already. Tracey can't wait to get her home and get her under control with her manors. She's missed the first days of her life working with George and can't wait to get started. Even now she isn't allowed to go into her stall much. That to bad for Tracey, she stands most of her time there watching Georgia at her gate, but, they don't want Georgia to get to excited, or upset. Home soon tho, maybe early Friday.
Belle had more of her hoof cut off by her regular furrier that came to work on her today, for hours. He's also a great podiatrist and has done all or most of Tracey's horses. He studied in Europe for 5 years just to become one and she said he's really good. He took a long piece on horse shoe meterial and designed a new shoe for Belle. packed her foot with meds and she seems to be better now and not so much pain She's been so uncomfortable from all the stress they also have her, not on bute, but a pain medicine that won't effect her milk.
As Tracey said this all worked out for a reason. If it hadn't been for Ink getting sick he never would have gone to the clinic, then Georgia going to the same place and then them getting to seeing Belle limping again. They found a 4 inch long hole going up into her left foot and they are concerened about that. It's also some in her right foot now. It was dry, not ozzing anything but still had it not been found from the other horses having to be treated there it would have snowballed and they would never have found the hole in Belles foot. She probably could have lost her. With continued prayers along with these good DR's she should be alright. Tracey will post with a much more detailed and accurate detail tomorrow or later tonight. It is still is looking really good to have them home late tomorrow nite, or Friday morning.
She so enjoyed the children today. It seemed to give her a much needed boost to see some action in the stall and kids rolling around in the hay, tossing it around and asking so many questions.
Well thats about all for now, Tracey will be posting later as I said. Keep all those prayers coming her way
