Oh ja, FennekeR is vandaag jarig. Ze was blij dat met de nieuwe bokt de kadootjes naast de naam het nog niet doen zodat jullie dat niet zouden weten. Dat had ze nou niet moeten zeggen.... Gefeliciteerd mam
Update Sweet Pea: Nothing is happening that says "TONIGHT, TONIGHT" Megan has been rolling in the stall and laying out flat, both new signs. her bag is grapefruit size and hard but no fluid. Sweet Pea's bag is huge also. Sweet Pea is at 335 days and has never carried this long. Maybe the sunshine in the next few days will trigger them.
I'll keep you posted.
Stay tuned, we can't give up. They have to foal sometime, don't they ???
Update Brandi: Well at this point I'm not happy with the ph strips. I was told that anything less than 7.0 ph would mean a baby in 8 hours. That was over 24 hours ago. She's been testing below 7 for 2 days. So, you're right, someone didn't read her the manual. I'll have a talk with her this morning and see what we can come up with.
We have milk strips on their way (deliver today) and we'll let you know how they turn out.
Update Eclips: Well, I haven't been here most of the afternoon. I gave her a good grooming session earlier today. You'll notice I shaved her belly too. And she has a nice neat bridle path which makes her look so pretty.
She's eating now. Still looks very puffy under the tail and mucosa lining is fairly colorful. I'd love it if she'd foal this weekend, but don't tell her that!
Update Sarah: On the mare front, Sarah is still making progress, but not quite ready to pop yet. Though her poo piles have gone from super elephant size to normal horse size! Another good sign. LOL Cameo is just hanging steady. Some sign of bag, but nothing worth taking a picture of. I firmed up her reservations last night at her "foaling farm". I'll haul her up with me on the 18th when I head to Phoenix for a shoot.
Update Honey: Her nipples have now got well defined holes with what looks like yellow wax on them everyday. She has large edema/lumps in front of her Udder and also tremendous swelling now around the base of her nipples .It is expected that she will probably will get a much bigger udder. Her vulva is a much deeper red color at night then it is during the day. She is no longer eating all her hay either. She likes to hang out with the other horses, especially Nic and they play with each other a lot.
Update Lucy: Day 315 and stillnot much change. the milk is a little whiter and shes a lot more crabby I have two cameras on her stall now so she cant hide in the corners. LOL
