Don't know why the cam went down. I have it fixed now. But it's making me nervous, that's twice in less than 24 hours the darn cam has crashed.
Aana is out for a little bit to help with her adema. She would really rather stay in the stall but she needs to be moving. The weather is threatening here and if the rain hits, she'll be back in then instead of waiting til dinner time. She's a barn raised baby and hates the rain.
One other thing, she's waxed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we have wax????????? yuppers...
ok, only on the left side tho...
We'll see if she keep it or adds more to it by tonight. I will keep close eye on her while she is outside today and if she looks like she is being goofy, I'll rush her back in...
Everyone have a great day and we'll see ya this evening..

Thanks to all for the nice compliments about Octavia. She is 318 days and generally foals at 325-327...so hopefully we've got a week to go. We are watching her very closely now. Her tail will be braided soon but we don't put straw down until she is very close as Octavia has a tendency to eat the straw. She is being very patient but always gets a little ill while on drylot. She is bred to the stallion Anne and you can see him at

I appreciate all the watchers and those of you who watched Octavia last year know she can foal with very little or no warning....typical for a Friesian as they are very stoic horses. We are located in South Carolina and always love to have visitors....Pam

Sorry yes while I am doing house work etc it is MUCH easier to put her on the TV so I can see her. I do need another receiver, I tried the extra one I have and it doesn't work. I will work on that. She mad it through another night, and yes the tail is up down up down, she is still off and on with the milk.. HOW MUCH LONGER CAN SHE HOLD OUT.. Driving me BONKERS.. I took tomorrow off of work JUST IN CASE.. Will be another long night. I am feeding her in her stall otherwise she will just stand out and eat all night. She is sweaty but it is hot out, she is uncomfortable for sure. Head up down up down, yawning stretching you name it could she possibly have ANYMORE signs she is going to foal.. RRRRR.... Angela
