Hoi Fenneke Haha!

Macy staat hier al de hele dag aan hoor, alleen zit niet steeds achter de pc.
[***] had me vanavond alweer te pakken door te zeggen dat er een veulen bij Macy lag.
Ik mopperen "verdorie hoe heb ik dat nu kunnen missen etc." en naar de pc rennen....

Hier ook, ik hoop dat het maar tijdelijk is en niet dat heel marestare plat ligt.
Moet er niet aan denken dat Macy nu gaat bevallen....

Sassy had ik uitgezet omdat het beeld steeds zwart was, ik hoop dat het goed gaat met haar.

Hi,
OK everyone. Here is your update! I am sorry so late giving. We have been in panic today and it has been a very long day on the phone with OSU and our vets.

Anyway, she is going to stay home tonite, my decision, Sassy is bonded to me and due to mistreatment in her earlier years with a past owner, she gets very nervous in new situations, the vet agreed to give her 1 more day.

She is still not dilating, not sure why, possible mummified twin (which if she does have, I will not be showing, I will keep the cam on, I will just hide the mummified twin, it is horrible to see, seen this in sheep before) We do know that at least 1 is still alive. The foal is turned and twisted. The reason we have been palpating a lot is to turn the foal. It is now in correct position, poor girl, she was so patient and never kicked. Poor thing, I wanted to cry for her.

She is now high alert!! She HAS to go tonite or taking chance on septic if one is dead or taking a chance on her rupturing or tearing. IF not, we are going to induce when the vet arrives tomorrow AM if she does not dilate in that one, then I WILL be taking her to OSU which is about 2 hours from here, which is what I did not want to do is travel with her, she is very uncomfortable.

I need everyone to watch and CALL: 419-303-1536 IF they see ANY problems, I don't care what time it is, let me know. NOTHING TOO LITTLE is a problem to call. I need these alerts. I never did get to lay down and rest, so I am working on no sleep!

She is still having some contractions, but the dilation needs to be more than 2 sonometers. THe WATER HAS A SMALL LEAK but the foal is ok, not sure about the 2nd one, too far down, if she still has 2.

Yes, she has had 2 other sets of twins, no pics, she was in old owners hands and I do know b/c they are registered to her. The 3rd set died at 10 months. She is a twin herself, found this out after I bought her. I myself have delivered 2 sets of twins when working at a reproduction barn in ohio for a couple years.

I hope she is in great hands. SHE trusts me and I know this. She is the other half of my heart and she knows this. So it will be a great loss if something happens to her, but I am putting her best interest 1st even if it wouldn't be my choice.

Sow das nog al wat.. dus ze weten niet zeker of de 2e dood is.. het kan dus zijn dat ze alletwee nog leven! Maar het preciese probleem is dat ze niet genoeg ontsluiting heeft ofzo??

Weer 1 gemist zie ik... ik slaap ook te vroeg en de hele dag weg. En nu moet ik weer naar stage van 9 tot 6. Misty heeft vannacht op de cam gestaan. Ik ga nu kijken hoe Nikita verder is.
