jammer dat het al weer voorbij is moet ik een jaar wachten nou ja iets minder maar ja ik mis copper ook wel het was het laatste wat ik deed voor ik ging slapen even een uurtje copper kijken (hoe hou je half nederland bezig ) hopelijk word het volgend jaar iets minder spannend want wachten duurt altijd lang maar je krijgt er wel iets moois voor he marije

Ik mis het kijken naar Copper niet Bloos!

Heerlijk om gewoon te kunnen gaan en staan waar ik wil zonder te hoeven denken Oh als ze maar niet snel gaat veulenen want ik kan haar nu niet zien.... Haha!

Hier is een update van Shandy gevonden op marestare

She's progressing, but the changes are so small that it's hard to just keep updating everyone. And with her being a maiden mare...it's hard to predict what she'll show us before she foals.

Right now her nipples are pointing in toward each other - but her bag is finally getting bigger.

Her rump is getting squishy and she's definitely relaxing in that area.

You can see that the foal has dropped because she's caving in - in front of the hips and she doesn't look AS pregnant from behind.

We are using a new gadget to test the mares - it's called a refractometer. The one we have is used to test cholostrum and only requires one drop of milk, which is wonderful for us since mares like Shandy don't want to give enough to use the milk test strips.

The tool is pretty cut and dry. You place a drop of milk on the glass, drop the slide and look at it through the view finder. The milk separates on the slide. The thicker part goes to the bottom and the thinnner (blue) stuff goes to the top. As the colostrum comes in and the milk gets thicker the reading goes up.

The range is poor to excellent and Shandy went from poor to fair to poor and dropping backwards. (sigh)

So, while she's making changes....there's nothing new and exciting to report. We're just watching and waiting. Haha!

Ik denk het Verward

Had een mooi doosje op de kop neergezet, stokje eronder om weg te trekken en daaronder een stukje kaas.
Geen muis meer gezien maar voor de zekerheid wel even een kat naar binnen gedaan (Muts).
Kat heeft dus dat stukje kaas op en ligt nu te pitten Gestoord

Met die hitte had ik steeds alle deuren open staan en ik denk dat ie zo naar binnen is gekomen.
Probleempje... Al die tijd heeft ook m'n slaapkamerdeur open gestaan Nagelbijten / Gniffelen
