Gypsy will be staying in with limitted turn out when we are home from now on till the foal arrives. Please watch with me and call me if you see her go down. I know the video is not the greatest but if you think something is going on just call i promise i won't bite.
Citaat:Well, Misfer started her pacing routine again last night - most likely because she was locked up for so long yesterday... The wind is still blowing here today, but she will be outside for as much of the day as is possible! I will most likely switch one of the cams outside and leave one of the cams on in the stall so that if she goes into labor suddenly, I can get her inside without having to worry about coming in the house and switching cams. We are due to get some snow tomorrow, so I will be stripping the stalls and getting the barn all cleaned up to be prepared. There is no new wax that I can see on Misfer this morning, but with her pacing last night, who knows...
Citaat:Ok - now she is just gonna drag this out!!!
She is still showing she is ready - woohoo pushed out and very long and open. Teats full and turned out - no wax though. I will leave her out for awhile today. I'm off work - so will be watching. Thanks for all the eyes. I got a little sleep last night.
I'll update later if anything changes

Deb is worth a serious watch now!!!
Deb's milk has changed to the stage before it goes white, white..but Rumors and Cassie foaled on milk like this..so we are very close...a day, two, three..I'd say by Monday I should have a foal in there...today tomorrow..don't know...

I have no idea what Bes is doing tonight but her whole body is sweaty so maybe she is in labor? I am not sure. I would appreciate extra eyes tonight and into the morning, I have a buzzer on her halter that will go off when she lays out flat. Give me a call on my cell if you see her doing anything funny and I will switch it to just her on Marestare my cell # is 616-293-0514. She really doesn't have much bag there is more there than there has been, but not what I would think she should have to foal.
Thanks
April
Added it is 57degs F right now here so it is warmer than it has been

OK, update for 3/5/9.
Officially, there are 3 pokes for 3 mares on Cams!
Cam 1 & 2- Joanie was due 3/2/9 so she is at 343 days today. Joanie has made some changes to her shape today and did not finish her dinner tonight. Perhaps this is the night?
Cam 3- Dani. She looks the least ready tonight. But that's an echo of the night she foaled last year. She looked the least ready then, as well. She does still have a lot of stiffness to her tail, though.
Cam 4- Sissy, sissy, sissy. This is Sissy's foaling birthday! She is 365 days today. She is G.R.U.M.P.Y tonight. She is typically a baby doll and very amicable. Maybe that is a signal that she is tired of this game?
There you have it- not really much new info but that's all I can give you.
Khris

Flip flops in my horses stall....never, LOL. Yup, it has been in the 70's pretty much the entire week. There is a rain storm coming in, so we will be back to mud boots soon. I sure dont miss living in the midwest, not sure if I would have the guts to foal out in Jan/Feb or even March for that matter.
Blondie does a lot of lifting and holding up the back legs. She is a small mare that carries large foals so she is always stretching, laying down, holding up legs.

Good Morning everyone,
I wanted to give everyone the morning update.
Shandy is 335 days today and her bag is getting smaller, I don't know how she expects to have a baby with no milk. Tonya's bag is starting to fill up slowly. She is 310 days I think, or somewhere around there. Vicki is moody and does not want her bag touched at all. She has a very large bag, no milk... I think she is still a ways off.
I am kinda doing the stall shuffle this morning. Vicki has been moved to Unforgettables stall and Unforgettable will be going into Vicki's stall tonight but for the day Unforgettable will be in Tonya's stall. Sorry about all the confusion.
