Citaat:Hi All,
Hope is definately making some progress, her bag is much bigger then it was yesterday en we also have put the foaling alarm on her halter..
We don't want to take any risk of missing the birth.
I don't have the feeling she could go this coming night on the other hand, you never know..
We'll just keep an eye on her,
Sonja

Citaat:Shannon looked at me last night and said "Well Deb was right...it was a race for sure" With the three foalings so close together...geesh. And I think Shandy won't wait much longer....Tonja and her have been eyeing that little guy and having wishful thoughts.....we'll see how powerful the mind is. LOL
Thank you guys - we crashed last night - went straight to bed after returning to the house and I feel so much better now that I've had some sleep. We will have the cam on Rival and Unforgettable all day. We can see Shandy and the other cams on our big TV, so they will be watched and we'll change them out as needed. Jut wanted to give you a good view of the little guy.

Citaat:Great picture!!! So glad to hear she stayed calm..I was really hoping Indy would do the trick... Those two are stuck to each other all the time outside...Indy is 10 years old and Beauty is 9... They grew up together... And since they are both bay roans, we just call them the "twins"....lol
I wonder when/if she will ever lay down again...But a new problem has arised with this stall arrangement....Indy has decided he doesn't want his food anymore, he would MUCH rather have Beauty's bran mash....
Thanks for the updates and the great picture...

Citaat:Penny is pretty agitated this morning, so if I could, I would like to ask for your eyes this morning until I get back from class around 1pm. She was acting this way yesterday afternoon when I got home too so I am not sure what is up with her. Please call my cell phone 517-652-1058 if you think she needs to be checked on. Thank you!

Citaat:I tell you what if I get a solid chestnut everyone will hear me scream through the cam!!!! Anyone want to start taking guesses of colors and sex of the baby?? There are a lot of choices. Also days and times you all think this baby will be bornHave fun and I'll make a list if we get enough guesses!! I have no prizes to whoever wins....buuut it could be fun anyway!!
So start guessing away!!

Citaat:Chloe's udder was VERY full this morning. Hiney very loose. She is ready to go soon (we ). Will keep you posted!!

Citaat:Dani had some movement around her stall but nothing to indicate anything. There was one time she laid down at approx. 4:30 am. She stayed down for several minutes then rolled a couple of times prior to getting back up.
Lexi was quite content with her beautiful new daughter. Ginger seemed to nurse well and had intervals of playing around the stall at a lope.
Sissy. What can I say about Sissy. I think it is not enough to just carry the record gestation at Fields but that she is going for the big prize. Very minimal movement in her stall. Pretty much stayed down in the bottom corner of the stall on the cam. No indicators of impending labor.
Hope the KY weather treats you well today with plenty of sunshine!
Kathy

Citaat:Just a quick note for everyone who is watching Baa. She is very agitated today and that is extremely unlike her. Her udder is much fuller and she is still occasionally dripping clear wax. She is the most miserable pregnant mare i've ever known and i just feel terrible for her. I am leaving for a few hours. If anyone see's her lay down please post it.

Citaat:OK OK , everybody is having babies!!

Citaat:Hi All,
It's very nice to be back!! As some of you might have seen on our website or messageboard we have had a year filled with computer problems. The cams haven't been online during the year. We have been struck by lightning and becuase of that all our camera's and everything was broke and everything needed to be replaced.
This is finally done now, so our cams are back online!
Cowgirl is at 320 days at the 19th of Feb, right now she doesn't show many signs at all. She is nice and relaxed and is not making a real bag yet. I have the feeling it possibly could take some more time then we expected, I'm sure about her breeding days since she was hand bred and ultra sounded.
We'll keep you posted on her progress, right now Hope (our other cam) seems to be a lot further in her bag and everything.
I hope you're all enjoying watching our cams, during the day I'll try to have our paddock on so that you can watch the horses outside, during the nights we will switch to the stall.

Citaat:Nothing!!! Her udder is even less than before and all signs of waxing are gone....
That means on hold for now.
It isn't all that bad though because I have a feeling that if she carries a filly (please, please) than it will take longer than last time. (just a gut feeling)
Thanks Nova Lee for posting me Pinky's laying down reports, it is very helpfull, eh. She rests more now so my guess is foal is in place and waiting to get into the next stage.
Diana
P.S. Snowy was not feeling well yesterday and that worried me but is okay now...(Snowy is next to Pinky and due march 31)

Both mares have been up and down in the last hour or so. Maybe its a race???/ LOL

Citaat:Same day different story...
She had a nice day in the turn out, even trotted a bit.
I cleaned her up and put her away.
Got some yellowish milky kinda stuff coming out.
Her left side seems to be more sensitive than the right.
Woo ha is more open again, dishchargy still...

Citaat:Hi, well, we are just trying to get used to the sleep with one eye open again, promise still acts odd at times, right everyone??? and rumor has a tiny bag, just very slowly growing but with her value too, cant take any chances, empress, the buckskin mare in big stall, has no bag, but we bought her bred, they say started in March, sooooo who knows, and now I think tonight bringing in a mare that is a buckskin, jubilee, this would be some early, but has about half a bag, mike milk tested her at 30 percent, of our course, we keep watching, and thanks to you all, rumor the tiny palomino has quite loose back end, her vulva area is slightly dilated and is looser, so i still feel she will be close, first bred on april 22, so back up one month march 22, give or take a couple of weeks, she could go any time soon, or near future, thanks, cant wait for the first little cutie and hope all of you get to watch, thanks tami

Citaat:Flip flops in my horses stall....never, LOL. Yup, it has been in the 70's pretty much the entire week. There is a rain storm coming in, so we will be back to mud boots soon. I sure dont miss living in the midwest, not sure if I would have the guts to foal out in Jan/Feb or even March for that matter.
Blondie does a lot of lifting and holding up the back legs. She is a small mare that carries large foals so she is always stretching, laying down, holding up legs.

Citaat:Well, now they have changed our forecast to a low of 10...that's TEN! This is the south...
I've been watching Classy swirl and poop and dream...She doesn't have much of a bag, but she is certainly worth watching. And if you should notice her behaving oddly, like in the foaling mode, please try to give me a huge advanced warning so I can put on 12 layers of clothes to run out there to foal her....Have I mentioned that I HATE WINTER!!!
With SymPHONY's new behavior, she camps out next to the wall and doesn't move. She poops and pees in the same spot - even pooped in her water! Frozen fecal balls....yum... If she does venture from the wall, it must mean she's getting back to being comfortable. I just don't want her comfortable enough to foal tonight...
If I haven't mentioned it...I HATE WINTER... oh maybe I have. Oh well, I'll mention it again before it's all done!!!

Citaat:She certainly deserves to have a healthy, comfortable delivery with lots of attention and care. Some days she looks at us like.. "what the heck am I doing having a baby???" Mostly she just loves to eat

Citaat:Cam is up.... see what you think about the new picture. Di is still acting very strange, I am headed down to clean her stall, but no great signs of anything that i can see. Still no bag to speak of, but she sure has changed in behavior in the last few days. Eyes are much appreciated!

Citaat:Yes I tested her again as this was the first day I could test her.
But... still at 5.
We had a little conversation. I told her to be nice and foal soon and she'd better listen to me as I'm the one with the painmeds...
She told me she is doing her best but I doubt it... All I see is a sleeping or eating mare time.

Citaat:Just got home.... long day!
Precious has made some more change this afternoon... she has been very testy with Linzi - which is very out of character for her. Also, her bag has filled some more since mid-day.
Samdu told me she predicted 3/25, I don't think she will make it that long.... What do you all think?
Well I tivoed AI but I think it is going to have to wait until tomorrow.

Citaat:Yes, Gabby and her filly were running the halls today. Well, baby was running and Gabby was "vacuuming". It was really cold and hated to turn her out in it. So we pulled the gates and let her tear around! She seems to be doing great. I am looking forward to some warmer weather so she can get outside. It was maybe 20 degrees F here with a cutting wind today but supposed to get up to the 50s this weekend....yeah! And we do like the name suggestion especially Somethin' to Talk About! Thank you. Gypsy is progressing, filling in the nips now with two levels - resembles an upside down ice cream cone. Jewel has stayed steady and hasn't seen much udder change but behavior is showing her more uncomfortable with a few more butt rubs and more wall standing. Then there is Dash -she is most days gestation but least ready to deliver. She can't get much grumpier than she already is so that won't be a good indicator. We have beepers on all three, just in case but I am anticipating Gypsy will still beat Jewel and Dash at this point.

Gek beest.
Lekker naar buiten kijken:
