Her nipples don't look QUITE ready to me, but since I know for a fact that my mares have NOT read the same books that I have, I'll just continue watching and praying!

Just in the last couple of days she has been doing LOTS of circling, then squatting to go down, then changing her mind. To me, this has always been a sign of impending foaling - when a mare that LOVES to lay down, QUITS laying down.

I'm really beginning to believe that we are likely to have a double-header again...

Hi Everyone!! I have been a Marestarer for a while, and finally got our cam hooked up and running (THANK YOU HEATHER!!)
Here is Starlites Cam link. She is the only mare we are expecting a foal out of this year. She is maiden so we dont know what to expect out of her. She has a tight bag, relaxing and mooshy at the tail head, and totally not herself! She has had a little discharge the last few days.

I am new to the Mare Stare family (well I've been a lurker for a long time ). I raise show quality miniature horses in eastern Pennsylvania. I have 6 possibly 7 mares due for 2007. The first mare due is a maiden mare Little Secrets Made To Order (Princess). She is 307 days today and is making a good size bag. She still has about a week or so to go I think, but you never know with maidens. She is the black and white mare in the front stall. The white mare (actually cremello) in the back stall is due the end of March, that is Doll (Darmonds GG China Doll). I may be doing a switcheroo as I have 3 other mares that may go before Doll. I am excited to see my first foal crop from my stallion LM Hawks Blue Amigo. Princess likes to lay down alot so don't be alarmed. The other stall next to Doll is Petunia my pot bellied pigs stall. You may see her too with her friend Henny Penny my one and only chicken I'll post updates as things change. The cam will be off during the day until one gets closer.

Well..............Samething different day LOL!!! She is 3 days overdue now with no other outward signs of foaling! There is nothing new and nothing different same ol mare LOL!!!! She is oviously cooking those markings on extra good!! Jenn wants a filly but she really doesn't care as no matter what it is its for sale! So who knows maybe Annie is cooking on extra parts too LMAO!!!
BB the cow update......Samething different day!!!! She has been dripping milk for two days. Hubby said he has never seen a beef cow drip milk like she is before! I think BB is waiting on Annie and Annie is waiting on BB. Maybe we should tell them that the other one had a baby then maybe they would both go?????? Just a thought!
We have had some nice weather yesterday and today. If its nice Annie will get turned out. However I am leaving for a paint horse meeting tomorrow so I will make sure she is in when I leave. Hubby will be home and I will have my cell phone!

Hi ev1 sorry for the late update I feel like crud. She is dripping white milk. VERY upset lots of tail swishing, weight shifting, her poop is like cow pattys, etc. Her butt is like jello! I am not sure what she is wating for. She is actually still right now but has been pissy and miserable all day.

Mystery Mountain Arabians & Paints Cam
March 10th 07: Big up date on Mercedes.
Ok so this morning well putting her out side, I noticed she was not walking well on back legs at all. Well it is because the foal is moving around in there hitting a spot that is doing this to her. Three weeks a go same thing happened. Difference is this time we believe it is because foal is moving around into position. She also rubbed her bum lots last night and her vulva is looser making you able to see pink skin in side. Also some clear liquid on outer vulva. She had some clear liquid last yr on vulva 3 days before foaling. So we are now watching her closer.

Vader was 68,6 cm, veulen al tussen 55,9 en 61 cm, denk dat moeder op zijn hoogst 75 cm was ofzo, dus idd erg groot.
