Als het om het eten gaat, laat ze zich wel horen.
Als ze weet dat ik wakker ben, dan loopt ze vaak te hinniken totdat ik kom voeren. Nu zit ik al een tijd stil achter de pc dus ik denk dat ze denkt dat ik slaap Haha!

Turns out that Lacie is not in foal after all. I got suspicious when nothing was happening Vet confirmed last week.

Update Snickers:
Same story, different day. No dramatic changes. It was a beautiful day here and we had lots of visitors at the farm. The mares got lots of attention. Priscilla and I took Snickers beside the golf cart for a long walk around the farm. We took it easy and slow up and down the sloping hills. It worked for Megan and she delivered the night that she had walked that afternoon. Maybe it will work on Snickers.

Sabrina seems ready all but the fluid in the bag, there is none yet! She has set the halter monitor off 3 or 4 times laying out flat tonight. She's just teasing!!
It has got to all break loose sometime and babies start hitting the ground.

Stay tuned and wait and watch watch and wait

Snickers as of today is 345 days. My major concern at this time is the size of this foal. The foal has got to be growing daily and it has gotten active. Tonight her temp. was still 99.8. Her udder has increased in size the last few days. But certainly a long ways from where I would like for it to be.

I have alerted the vet. if we call to come immediately. Hopefully this won't be necessary but better to let them know. I think Snickers will probably deliver with no problem but the concern is still there as each day passes.

Carolyn and I have to many mares due at the same time and four of hers being maidens. You never know what they will do. Sabrina could foal at any time.

Talk about being on pins and needles.

I don't have long for my prediction so Snickers better get active.

Stayed tuned as surley we are going to get things rolling.

Update Libby, Abby & Lady:

Well...three fat ladies all in row. Who will go first? Libby is due in 5 days. Abby due in 9 and Lady due in 12. The truth is, anyone of them could go at any time...and NOT in that order. Lady lost her wax plugs yesterday. Libby has finally got tiny beads of wax and Abby has a bag like a basketball. All are loose behind. I have Libby on the cam more because she is a maiden and the related concerns because of any maiden foaling. But you will bet I'll have both ears tuned in because she may not necessarily go first.

Update Nathalie (sevenacres):
Natalie is now on the Streaming Cam with a halter monitor on. Her physical signs tell me she has a ways to go but I just keep worrying abt her. I've decided to play it safe and begin monitoring her closely. I've not been able to get enough fluid to test her yet. Her vulva is enlongating but that could be from all the rubbing she's doing. There is just something abt her that makes me feel she'll foal before mid April. I'd rather watch them for a month than lose a foal by not going with what my gut says!

Dixie and Allie are now on the refreshing cam. Allie had a very busy day today so is sacked out at the moment!
