I don't think that we will see a baby today. I will check back in with you all after I get home from work. Look to hear from me around 5 pm. I think that this one might just drag this out to the end. Full moon is on the 24th but hopefully she will go this weekend.

Cee Cee's teats are still soft...pointing straight down..bag flat on bottom..so not today nor tomorrow...all I know is that Cee Cee should foal before Picaboo. Of that I am pretty positive.

Update: olivia is in her first stages of labor. Full and hard bag and teats. Biting and cramping. Rolling and not hungry. Lets see how long she can hold out... should see baby within 48 hours. Shiloh is now down, doesn't want to be outshined I guess. She shows no changes physically, but who knows. Thanks for staring.

Evening gals! Sorry for the over due report, our big show is finally over! Phew....

Ok so she seemed to regress a bit in some ways and take HUGE steps forward in others.... her bag is HUGE, she started getting edema yesterday so that's making it bigger. I did check her milk, yesterday it was clear, last night it was cream colored and sticky and the same today... I would normally say she's not ready BUT she bagged up from nothing to BEYOND FULL in less than 3 days.... soooo

One big difference tonight is she is now back to very swollen and pushed out in her yoohoo...she has not been the last few nights.... a sign???

Shianne (8/15) @ Wildfire Mini Farm - Showing Early Signs!
Well....... here is my update....She is still clear no milk yet... She is 3 days past her due date and I am on pins and needles...I dont know if any of you have been following all my births so far this season but it has been very emotional for me. Daisey, my miniature donkey, had trouble foaling and I lost her baby on June 28 and almost Daisey. Very upsetting for me. Panda, my miniature horse came 15 days early, all was good after a few nerve wrenching days and Shianne who always delivers before her due date has now got frizzled...Sooo just be patient with me... its been a rough year!!:)

Jesse is gister bevallen.....kleine heeft het niet gered

R.I.P. little filly of Jesse's..... Jesse foaled this afternoon a gorgeous filly, she was an upside down breech, red bag delivery (though she was breech she was still had placentitis). The filly looked as though she would have had some issues regardless, so let's count this as a blessing. Jesse is doing great, no tears or anything. Just breaks my heart.

historically, she foals early and once her bag starts filling, it all goes pretty fast. But, after the year we have all had - of jennets rewriting their book - who knows!?
No change tonight...... she is just miserable. Poor donkey!

Nope, not water breaking, this pony is generally very tidy about keeping all her poop and pee in a relatively small area. She was looking outside for a little exercise, so she's out in her paddock now to stretch her sore tired legs.
We have notable progress today- her milk is starting to turn cloudy. Perhaps we are in the homestretch now Miss Calliope?

Here milk is snow white. It won't be much longer. Her stool is still firm but we moved her in the foaling stall anyway because it is too hard to watch her with the outside lights broken.

thats how I feel...looking at those udder pics taken over 2 months ago...I would think we should have a foal by now...but she somehow knew it would be a while??? don't make sense, but here we are still waiting after 10 weeks of development.
she has flat out refused to go out for the last 2 days. normally you get the lead & she meets you at the door. she turned away yesterday & turned away 3 times today. I am going to bring magic back in...although I am not 100% on her she had that mucus on her & when I went out today the belly she had was gone. so if she is indeed in foal it has turned into position. I will have her in tomorrow just in case.

Maddie is a Ruby colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, she has had 1 litter before with 4 puppies. I am unsure of how many she is having this time. (my guess is 5)
I am work during the day, and could use a few extra eye's to help me watch her. I work from 5 am to 1:30 pm central time. I suspect that she will whelp in the overnight hours tonight but I could be wrong. If you notice any thing- please feel free to e-mail me.

Sorry guys. I know she is testing your patience. Another day closer. She was so stove up this morning she could hardly walk. I was glad to see it was a nice sunny but cool day. She did manage to wander or should I say waddle outside 2 times. Came in and laid down for a nap between the rambling. Baby is surely growing nicely. And Shy is stretching nicely. Makes me smile, nothing I would like better than to see her foal without any drama. Her 1/2 bag is looking great. Shouldn't be an issue feeding this little one. I know easy for me to say. Once the baby is born she can have some meds to keep her comfortable. I am sure you and I will be surprised to see her moving around normally with a little one by her side. My guess is whatever sex it is, it's bound to be a stinker. Another night. Wait for it!

Hi everyone
We are back with another mare waxed up and ready to foal. This is Gypsy, she is a maiden mare, and in foal for the stallions first baby as well. So we are very excited.

Gypsy has a small udder, but is waxed up. Her butt is like jelly and she is very relaxed in her backend. She's been pacing, pawing, butt rubbing and acting uncomfortable.

She has a halter alarm on that will go off if she lays out flat. But if you see anything that worries you, or you think i need to be alerted to anything, please dont hesitate to call the numbers on the cam page.
