Al het begin is moeilijk.. Ik werd ook steeds uitgelogd en heb verschillende pogingen gedaan om iets te posten ( maar die zijn dus niet geplaatst )

Morguhhh....ik moet zeggen dat ik het tot nu toe geen verbetering vind, de profielen zijn weg, en ik vind de pagina zo breed, je moet elke keer schuiven....nou ja ik hoop dat het inderdaad alleen de "nieuwigheid" is.

Sjoert, waaraan is het veulen van Ima overleden? En was het dan een moeizame bevalling?

Hmmmm, dit is echt wel even wennen, ik hoop niet dat Sjoert gelijk krijgt en dat er nog meer gaat veranderen.

Afgezien van het trage, beviel het me prima zoals het was.

Tuesday Evening, 1-25-05

As many of you may already know, Ima had a rough night of foaling, last night. Her foal was a huge lethal white and she had a very hard time with her labor. Thank goodness, all ended good for her, but she did suffer some tearing and some bruising and was extremely exhausted. We were very worried that something was seriously wrong. But, she is fine. Just fine. I just got back in from checking on her. I got her out and cleaned her again, then turned her out to the paddock for a little bit. She ran and played. A great thing to see!

Thank you to all of you who are watching our Live "McFoal" Cam during Ima's birth. We appreciate your support and are very sorry that things did not happen as we'd hoped they would. And we're sorry to have enden tour viewing during the foaling. However, we felt that the tenuous situation at hand best be dealt with privatly. Thank you, also, to everyone who has sent words of support and condolences. We appreciate you all.

We look forward to sharing the rest of your foaling season with you and are praying for safe furure foalings. Thanks for being here with us.

There has been a new bug sweeping the world over the past few years. Containment wasn't an issue until now. Its called Foalcamobsessus Eyespoppingoutus (known to the masses as "Mare Stare") and it is brought on by watching foal cams on the internet. You may have a mild infection if more than three of the following apply to you
1. You know the next three mares to foals website address, names, due dates, and who they are bred to.
2. You have your favorite cams in your favorites
3. You get on to check on the mares when you wake up, before work, after work, and of course, staring until all hours of the night.
4. You take quick naps during the day to allow yourself to stay up just a little later
5. You have seen one foaling so far.

If therapy isn't sought immediately, you will find more symptons develop, and you will be in the moderate/high-risk time of your watching.

1. You have a serarate folder in your favorite places with about 20 cams in it
2. You know the names and due dates of all of the mares for the next month.
3. You leave your computer running at night, with the foalert and your favorite mare up so you can glance at her throughout the night.
4. Your spouse begins to complain that he/she doesnt get to cuddle at night anymore because youre on the computer
5. You purchase a monthly subscription to Saddlebrook's barnbuddy site, and the like.
6. Your sleep schedule includes 4 hours of sleep per day

At this point, there is no stopping the infection. You have a severe case of Foalcamobsessus Eyespoppingoutus, and you have become contagious. Everyone you talk to will surely contract the bug. In your hopeless state, you should expect to enjoy symptoms such as-

1. Sleeping in the daytime and waking during the evening.
2. Having twitchy fingers when it comes to the foal alert buttons.
3. You are hopelessly obsessed with Nifty and Hannah and stare at them as though they were expecting again.
4. You have every single foalcam linked to your desktop, including the next mares and their due dates.
5. Foalnet.com and Foalingfun.com take turns being your homepage.
6. You can actually get the foalnet chatroom and 7 cams up and in view all at the same time (Try it, it can be done!)
7. You have purchased and read the Complete book of Foaling and Blessed are the Broodmares.
8. You call your mom to tell her about the latest foal.
9. You purchase an annual subscription to a site like Saddlebrooks barnbuddies.
10. You now sleep in bed with your computer on your pillow, and your disgruntled spouse sleeps on the couch, waiting for foaling season to be over!!!

Foalcamobsessus Eyespoppingoutus is contagious at this point. But the carriers dont seem to mind. They seem to think that everybody would like to watch foal cams... hmmm... would you?

Bedankt Sjoert, meteen mijn boeken leverancier bellen, wordt hij ook weer blij van.

Voor de geinteresseerden: Ik heb een half boekwerk over Lethal White van een veterinaire site geplukt, wel allemaal in het Engels.

Wie interesse hier in heeft, moet me even via de PB een e-mail adres sturen,
want dit overjarige niet blondje, kan nog steeds geen foto's of anderzijds in deze rubriek plaatsen. Bloos!

Kitten, ik heb deze titels opgezocht via google.. Ga er dus van uit dat het wel de goed zijn, maar zeker weten doe je het nooit ..

Zijn er nog merries spannend?
Ik vind de nieuwe bokt wel mooi trouwens. Ik vond vooral de quotes mooi, maar zie dat die alweer veranderd zijn. He jammer.
Bokt loopt hier wel als een trein trouwens Haha!

Oh heel leuk, hebben jullie gezien dat je bij Privéberichten alles kunt veraderen?
Je kunt zelfs friends en foes opgeven en dan kun je zien of ze online zijn Haha!

Vanaf daar kun je ook naar alle geabonneerde berichten toe. Wel handig vind ik!
