Update Sabrina, Curly Sue, Brightside & Dinah:
Sabrina's bag is very full, smooth and slick, she is not releasing much fluid--only a drop or two. It is real sticky. You know what I am doing-----Watching her!!!

Curly Sue is progressing but not there yet. Bright side and Dinah are still at square one.

Maybe they are all waiting for April Fools day!!! wink.gif

Update Foxy, Shoshone & Precious:
Foxy and Shoshone are definitely going to keep us waiting and watching. There has been no change in either of them. They must be cooking up a couple of really special babies.

Precious is progressing slowly. Her bag is a little bit larger tonight but not full and tight yet.

Nothing to do but wait and see what they do. CupaCoffee.gif

Update Daffy & Careless:
Daffy's bag is increasing in size and she now has wax - was hoping to do a milk strip test but could not get fluid yet - so will keep watching closely. Hips are soft, do feel we are getting close - due date expected around 4th, but maybe sooner - so we are on standby until then.

Careless is still about the same with little change maybe in udder slightly.

Update Lucy, Jeannie & Eleanor:
Lucy going on 337 days... and no difference in bag from her bag picture.

Jeannie.. what a sweetheart!

Eleanor.. now she can be a little standoffish.. so I will be doing a lot more... it is bug Eleanor time with her. She needs to get used to me going in and out of that stall clean, touching her, and accept it willingly. So you will probably see me in there more with her. She can be a tad more nervous about things is all. Nice mare though, once you get her to accept it.

Update SevenAcres:
We will have the overhead cam on tonight. For some reason both cameras on the west end of the barn have gone out. David had to work late this evening so hasn't been able to check out what kind of wiring problem I have.

Christy's mare Jenny is now in one of our foaling stalls. She's not due for another 3 weeks or so and I don't expect her foaling to be imminant. She's got a nice bag though for a maiden and I want to start watching her stall habits. She is not closed in so may be out in the lot attached to that stall at times.

The next two mares due are in the middle left stall. Katy is due the same day as Jenny and Lilly isn't due until May. But Lilly normally foals around 300 days and Katy foaled just over 300 last year. Katy is bagging up now so I pulled her from the mare pasture and brought her over much to Honey and Maggie's dismay! They don't know what to do now without special Mama Boss Mare privileges!

Mathew is in the lower right stall, Dixie & Allie in the middle right and Manilla at the top right. Natalie and Beau are still in the top left stall.

We've been busy with the new foals, puppies and breeding for next year. So far we have these mares bred but not confirmed:

Dancy X Mathew
Summer X Manilla
Cat X Spice
Honey X Manilla
Emily X Mathew

When Dix and Natalie come into their next heat they will be bred to Mathew. Hopefully all of these first mares will take then we'll just have to catch the PG mares after they foal.

Update Maggie:
Ohhh Maggie she will make you cry As breeders we get our mares pregent on our choice not theres. For 11 mths we waite and every month that goes by is a great day. At anytime they can loose the foal our God forbid something happeds to your mare.

I am 33 with no children, I know now what it feels like to be a mom. Watching Maggie just so over it. looking at me with those big soft brown eyes. just melts my heart. I feel her pain. She is so miserable that it breaks my heart. She still has some discharge comming out. witch concerns me very much at this point. Normally they do not have this. I knew she was a high risk in Feb when this whole thing started. I have tryed to prepare myself for every feeling i can go through. So at this point I pray for a healthy mom and healthy baby.

She was warm to the touch. And she wanted to lay down when i was in there. So we waite and see.

Iam going to try and lay down. I am thinking i wont sleep but iam going to try before her normal time to get a move on things. So I cant say it enough. If you see her pace, get up get down. That is not her please call.

I did tell her plunger man was here to help her maybe that will work.lol

Ok be back in 2 hrs unless something happends

Update Starlite & Nina:
We are one month away from Starlite and Nina's due dates. They are both due April 20th. We are excited about are new arrivals. The barn cam will be up and runnng April 1st. Nina and Starlite are in great shape and coming in at night so they can rest in a nice dry stall. Thanks Lanette and girls for the good wishes. I will up-date again around April 1st.

Update Mari & Pay:
No change. probably a good thing.
Mari and Pay certainly ahead of the pack.
Trying to decide. Both of these were scheduled to be cam club mares. Will be moving horses around. Put fanny in a night stall with day turn out.And move who there?

Vet will be out this week. Ivy is starting to bag . Not due till August. Put her on SMZ's and pray.
She is also on regumate.

Ik zat er even aan en het been ging omhoog (niet van schoppen) maar om het te ontlasten.... ze vind het niet fijn, maar zal nooit schoppen (in tegenstelling tot Macy Tong uitsteken
