Wat grappig dat mini's zoveel sneller 'rijp' zijn dan als grote paarden.

Dat is om het extra spannend te maken zeker. Haha!

Dan baal je, stel je je in op begin februari, komt het veulen eind maart! ROFL

Ik houd Macy angstvallig bij de mini's uit de buurt, voor je het weet begint ze over melk druppen o.i.d. Nagelbijten / Gniffelen

Naast Macy, Dynamic & Isis zijn ook Violette en Pepsie weer op de cam te zien.
Verder wil ik er eigenlijk geen extra merries bij dit jaar, het is mijn bedoeling om meer te gaan showen en dan ben ik regelmatig een weekend weg.

Midnight

Starlight Ranch Update!!!

Good morning everyone, well as you have probably noticed Midnight's uncomfortable moments are starting to increase, she is also washing my walls for me even they she is dirtying them not cleaning them. Well goes with the territory. Anyway she continues to make progress nice and slow which is good, gives her and the foal more time to repair which hopefully will end in a safe foaling.

If we are lucky maybe by the end of the weekend, but only the foal and midnight really have a clue. Since the baby picks the day and the mare pics the time.

Everyone is going out for a while except for Midnight. We will put her out later by herself after the other three work off some steam. Don't want to chance her getting hurt as she is starting to slow down a bit.

So will let the others play and around 2:00 will let her out for a couple of hours before we feed for the night. That way she can roll that baby around!!!

Brookhaven mini's:

Well, for the most part they are all bagless...maybe a tablespoon or two.

For whatever reason Cloud has been standing off by herself and not eating hay. This is not like Cloud (or any of my horses - they love to eat and this hay is beautiful orch/alfalfa mix that they usually leave their grain to eat!). I'm hoping the foal is just positioning and she doesn't feel good. And, as I type she walks over to the hay. SIGH. But we know they CAN foal without a bag - and a tablespoon ain't gonna feed it! . OK...so it was gas?

Nieuwe cam: Magic

Magic is on cam now. Magic has already started to bag. She was pasture bred, so they aren't really sure, on the due date, so she might surprise everyone.

She is 28" tall.

Hello all!! I have the cam up now, finally! not the best picture.....we are going to try and work on that. I dont know what the problem is, it looks crystal clear here on the tv.....I will do my best to see what we can do to make it better. In the meantime, here is some info on Sassy.

She is a 1997 registered ASPC (shetland pony) mare and is a National Grand Champion producer. We have owned her since 2006. In 2006 she foaled at 329 days and in 2007 she foaled at 331, she is at 319 days today (1/11). She is bagged up pretty good and her teats are filling out quickly. She has been a bit uncomfortable lately (to be expected of course!). She has been known to lay flat and "dream" a little, kicking her legs around. If anyone thinks she may be close to foaling, please do give me a call, 870-429-5407 or 870-688-8675. She does have a foal monitor under her chin, but I have been known to push the talk button on the phone and then hang up and fall back to sleep...if you call me and I "hang up on you", well, I was probably thinking it was the monitor calling, and feel free to try again!!!

She did not wax the last two years.

She is not a mean mare but can be a bit fussy sometimes and has been known to be a little, what we humans would call "rough" on her foals. She has not hurt one, but sometimes does paw at them to set them straight sometimes. She really doesnt make contact with the foal most of the time but sometimes does bump them.
She has had 7 foals and ONLY ONE has been a filly....so, it is time for a GIRL!! So think PINK

I will probably not go into the stall with her...she prefers to do things on her own. I will try and give everyone a heads up that I am headed in the barn, or will try and have my mother post that I am down there.

Nieuwe cam: Impressive Mis Lark

Hi everybody! Thanks for your nice comments about "Missle". She is quite a looker, we really like her and are very excited to see what she's got brewing in there. She's had foals before, but she's new to us this year, so we don't know anything about her foaling history. As of tonight, her milk is still clear, but not knowing her, that doesn't mean a lot and could change quickly, so we'll be watching her close. Looks like we'll get some sleep tonight, but I think we'll be leaving the lights on from now on just in case.

One Cool Clare

Just wanted to let you all know that we do have the cam operational but because we are on dial up we will not have it running until we believe that Clare needs watching. She is making great progress, but obviously is going past her due date! lol We do not expect it to be much longer. We will keep you updated on changes! Thanks!

Streak

Well it's been 3 weeks today since Streak started waxing and then dripping. She is @ 286 days today. Another 3 weeks would be awesome! I appreciate the watchers. She's still in the danger zone, but crawling towards safety

I'm still having issues with getting the second camera ready to stream My buckskin mare(Neely) due 2/2 usually foals early, so I'm trying to get it fixed as fast as possible! Last year she was 2 weeks early. I'll let you know when it's up. Jen

Luken Lovely

Hi all! Just getting ourselves acclimated to Marestare; we're newbies here so I just got signed on today. Lucy, the one currently NOT under the camera, but right next to the one that is, is currently overdue... The one under the camera is due 1/12, and since she's new to us, we're watching her closer, since we don't know her signs. Lucy always gives us good notice of when she's about to foal, so we're just waiting on her. Nothing going on as of tonight's check, so looks like we'll get a good night's sleep! Hopefully soon though...

Active X downloaden, dat is een driver die je nodig hebt om de cams te openen.Meestal vraagt hij het na een tijdje vanzelf bij het openen van de cam. Wat gebruik je Internet Explorer of Firefox?
