Snap er niets meer van...

And to add to that....I can't keep my cams straight. We check each of the girls each night and we determine if the two off cam need to be moved up. So, we moved the refreshing cam out of stall 1 and put it on Gabby. She just has us concerned and we want to keep an eye on her too. Her stall is a little smaller than the foaling stalls, so you get to see her UP CLOSE!!! (ha).

Ik zal straks weer updates zoeken, ga nu eerst even voeren en kuil halen met de aanhanger...

PS.. Carol is in Effingham, IL.. so will be here tomorrow. I will catch up with her tomorrow night. So watch to the baby.. you know she will be in there with her.

Laura.. (gosh trying to spell right now) you may not make it in time.... Betty is getting closer. Hoping not tonight, and she waits for Carol... as I think she will.

Okay.. now headed to couch... sound on in the barn, but tink I would sleep through a freight train coming through the house.

Ja ik had wel genoeg gegeten gisteravond..ik denk zelf dat eht komt omdat ik te snel ben opgestaan nadat ik het alarm had gehoord.Ik weet alleen nog dat ik op zoek was naar de link van de stal waar de merrie bezig was. Maarja voordat ik die vond werd ik al wakker op de grond Verdrietig

Mijn lip wordt steeds dikker...
Ik ga maar naar school, als het neit gaat dan mag ik weer naar huis komen. En oja...het alarm mag ik s'nachts van mijn moeder niet meer aan laten staan Clown

We have a few things we would like to post about Dancer. Just in case we can't stop it from happening, or if we can't get the cam covered in time.

Sometimes Dancer gets so excited and upset she will not and can not lay down. She actually has had to be helped down the last 2 foals. She can get her front down, her backend does not cooperate. Please, if you see them in there trying to help her down....Do not get upset. We have had this mare for several years, and with both foals she has had, she has needed help getting her backside down. But who knows, maybe this time she will not get as uneasy and make it down on her own.

Just a heads up in case that they do have to help her down.

Update Mulligan's Run farm:

Okay, left to foal we have

Cinnamon - due 3/15
Small bag, relaxed vulva, color is pink - caved in

Lace - due 3/26
Maiden mare, no bag, red vulva - caved in

Vicki - due 4/7
Small bag, testing 1 square no physical changes

Shanza - due 4/9
Stressed on Friday, has milk, caved in dramatically, tests 1 square, vulva normal

Gabby - due as early as 3/10 (pasture bred)
Maiden mare, caved in, vulva normal, no bag

And Autumn isn't due until June, so nothing to report there. We'll keep you posted.

Update Snickers:

AFTER MY LAST POST AND LOOKING AT SNICKERS TONIGHT ON MY RETURN TO TOWN. WE HAVE DECIDED THERE IS NO NEED TO TAKE HER TO THE VET. I BELIEVE SHE WILL FOAL BY THE WEEK-END. SNICKERS IS MUCH LARGER THAN I EVER THOUGHT SHE WOULD BE AND I AM CONCERNED WITH THE SIZE OF THE FOAL. WE HAD TO HELP GET THE FOAL OUT LAST YEAR AND DO HOPE SHE HAS THIS FOAL BY THE WEEK-END.

TENNESSEE AND FANCY APPEAR TO BE FINE. FANCY IS COMING ALONG GOOD WITH HER UDDER AND TENNESSEE LIKEWISE. BOTH OF THESE MARES DUE DATE IS MARCH 23. FANCY I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF SHE HAS HERS FIRST. WE WILL TRY TO HAVE BOTH OF THESE MARES ON CAMERA TOMORROW EVENING. FANCY IS IN THE FIRST STALL.

WILL KEEP YOU UP TO DATE ON THEIR PROGRESS.

I am beginning to think may just has bloating issues..lol.. No change there...

As you can see I took away our special little girl for now... I so much enjoy watching her that it was hard to do for me too! Might just have to order another cam so we can watch all three..lol.

Anyway, Shannon is now in. She also , like Belle foals appx 2 weeks early normally.

A little info on Shannon for those that may not know her. She is the dam of the mare that just had the beautiful filly. She is the dam to several futurity champions including a Congress futurity champion. Clint Fullerton described her once to me as a "great mare" She is one of those that doesnt neccesarily look like this big show horse but when you look at the parts you can see why she produces them. She has one of the best toplines I have ever seen ... she passes this on along with her straight legs and beautiful front end..

She came to us several years ago and she was soooo untrusting of humans. She was a mare that wasnt even halter broke until 4 years of age..Foot trimming wasnt something that she had become accustomed to either. After being here for several years she has become better.. We wont change her alot at her age but I can go in her stall and brush her and tonight, I started using the scissors on her bridle path and it was not working the greatest. I thought, well , I will just see if you will let me use the clippers. I will be darn she just stood there and let me do it... She trusts me now ... her and I just have an understanding about things... I know what to expect of her and as long as I dont push her past her comfort level we get along great. It isnt her fault that noone ever loved on her when she was young. Anyway, she is now in the waiting room while May takes her time in the birthing room.

As with Belle, if i think Shannon is going to go, May will have to move out for a few days..lol...

I am exhausted... it has been such a windy day that everything seemed like 100X more work... I picked up Dallas from the place today and if May will let me, he will be headed to Kevins on Saturday.

I gave him a bath today and he was not thrilled about that....
