Ok so there are so many words to say...First of all...Thank you to MareStare, all the "starers", all the love and all the friends we have made here!!! We couldn't have done it without each and EVERY one of you!!!

This afternoon, while I was a bundle of nerves, Hubby, Charlie, came in and saved the day. In case you didn't notice, with the VERY SPECIAL, VERY NEEDED and VERY LOVING Guidance of Stephanie with Code3 Farm, we were and did not need to "pull" the baby out. The only problem we had was the shoulders being so large. Steph suggested to gently shimmy the legs to give the shoulder blades time to get through! Once Charlie did that it was pretty much over! Mandy was SO AWESOME and an absolute PRO!!! I just loved the way she looked like she was getting up but was really using them to push baby out the back end. Steph stayed on the phone with us the whole time to assist us not only with the birth, but with nursing suggestions and placenta instructions...Stephanie, from the absolute deepest place in our hearts we thank you!!! You and your mom have been ABSOLUTELY the best!!!! We couldn't have made it through without you today!!!

Now, as for me and my nerves...thanks to my VERY LOVED and VERY APPRECIATED new friends that I have made here on Marestare to include BUT NEVER disclude anyone (keep in mind i am working on no sleep still!!!) Dakota (Chris), Destiny (Tanya), SouthernStyles (Wendi), Green (Lorraine), Torie, Appy (Celeste), Steph, Vanessa and Shelly at Code3 and that is really only to name a few...You have all been SO SO SO awesome!!!! There are not enough words to tell you how special you made this event for us!!!

As for Mandy, I am happy to say that she successfully gave birth to a hug baby boy we are naming Commander (barn name) and has passed the placenta and baby has pooped! Please also know that the vet has been notified and will now be coming tomorrow morning WE HOPE, to do the IGE IGG?? (forget the name) for the baby! Both are doing VERY well and he is very healthy! Mandy knew exactly what she was doing waiting this long! And wow...Mandy still is a big girl!! LOL...

Oh My...so many words...I will post pics and updates and we will be leaving them on cam for at least a few weeks!

I really need to take a second now and say this...yes that was a halter on and PER our VET, VET TECH, COACH (very expereinced) and our Trainer, it is important to use the halter and we trust, love and respect that they would NEVER do anything to harm the baby. The halter is a NEWBORN, easy break away, halter made JUST FOR babies. He will not have it on unless someone is IN the barn monitoring him. I do have to also say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to those that support that it is OUR barn OUR rules!! Especially Jomama and Themacpack!

We have made a choice to continue leaving mandy on cam with Commander provided we do not receive a phone call like we did today about the halter. Though suggestions and advice are appreciated we do not need to be yelled at, ridiculed OR TOLD what to do!!! Please understand that this is only ONE phone call out of SO MANY AWESOME calls and WONDERFUL suggestions and WELL intended advisories!!! Thanks again EVERYONE!!
