Er is zojuist een smsje van haar gekomen dat ze in Brazillie zit en zo snel mogelijk probeert op bokt te komen. Ze wil in ieder geval nog steeds weg daar.

Even een update over het veulen van Carla:

Good Afternoon, I took Carla and her foal to Auburn, they have him on oxygen they inserted a feeding tube and are also giving him some plasma. I am going to call and check on him this evening, I will update as soon as I get off the phone. Summer and her colt are doing wondeful, I am going to put them on Cam 1 tonight, for everyone to see. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Heb niet alle bladzijden bij gelezen. Wist dus ook niet dat het veulen van Carla problemen had. Ik hoop toch zo dat dit veulen het haalt.

Ja Jaenette, dat heb ik ook, je krijgt na al die maanden kijken en wachten op het veulen van Carla, er toch een soort van band mee, ik in ieder geval wel....

Ik wist ook niet dat er wat mis was met het veulen van Carla. Bloos!

Het veulen van Carla was ook een Red Bag Delivery (net als het veulen van Summer) maar dit veulentje was vanaf het begin al erg zwak.
Kon wel staan en heel even drinken maar het werd al snel slechter.
Daarom hadden ze ook niet gezien dat Summer aan het veulenen was gisteren. Ze waren op dat moment bezig met het veulen van Carla.

Gut, ik zit al vanaf vanochtend half 9 achter de pc het topic van Lotte te volgen, ben vanavond een uurtje of 2 weggeweest, en dacht: "even mijn zinnen verzetten" maaar jullie hebben het er hier ook over Lachen

Ben zelfs nog gebeld door Sterre vandaag, die had mijn nr nog van die keer dat ik haar SMS'te dat Scootin lag te bevallen denk ik *LOL*

Ik zat eigenlijk met spanning te wachten op een berichtje van Nathalie, die had Lotte aan de telefoon, maar het topic is gesloten.

Carla's veulen:
I just got off the phone with Auburn, his white blood count is very very low, they told me that they had only treated 1 other foal that's white count was this low and the prognosis is very grim. He is a fighter, they said they only have one drug that could possibly bring his count up, it is what they use in humans the vet told me it was costly and they would give it their all if I wanted them to treat him, but it would be a UP HILL struggle for him. I told them to treat him with the medicine that they have,I know if the good lord wants him to live he will make it. I will give update tonight if anything changes if not I will update in the A.M. Keep Carla and her little fighter in your prayers. Thanks

Spirit

Due June 30, 2004, is Rebellete Spirit, a new member of the broodmare band. Spirit is a black purebred Arabian who is in foal to the awesome Arabian stallion, The Egyptian Wizard. This should be an incredible foal.

Laatste update (30 mei):
Spirit is beginning to bag up and is VERY large in the tummy. She is stocking up in her legs during the night, but walks it off well during the day. We are working on getting her to allow us to touch her teats, so that she will accept the foal more readily.

Breezy continues to progress steadily but that bag still isn't just right. She could change quickly or keep us waiting a few more days.

Lilly is now at day 291 and her bag is a nice size. She isn't physically ready though so we still have a few days on her.

As some of you little brats have discovered I am keeping Melody. Lachen

I have given her to Christy but I'll co-own with her as it'll take her a couple of years to pay for her. Christy doesn't feel like something is truly hers unless she pays for it.

SO, since I am keeping THREE fillies this year (AND have to save a space in the barn for a little spitfire!) then we'll be offering a couple of our mares for sale. I'm working on a new sales page now. I've never sold any of my mature mares so this will be a tough decision. Well, I take that back. I did sell Charra but that was a very special circumstance to her benefit.

I'll keep you guys updated on Breezy and Lilly.

Erg van het veulen van Carla...hoop zo dat hij het haalt, ziet er niet goed uit zo te lezen!! Denk jij dat hij een kans heeft??
Komt dat nu door de redbag d. of was hij al gewoon niet zo sterk??
Het veulen van Summer is gelukkig wel in orde he, ze staan nu op de livecam.

Ik weet het niet... hoop het wel maar het ziet er niet echt goed uit geloof ik...
Waarschijnlijk heeft hij door de red bag iets van zuurstof tekort gehad en misschien waren er al problemen met de placenta voor de geboorte Verward

Ze doen er iig alles aan om hem te redden

HI MARE WATCHERS,

NOTHING DRAMATIC TO REPORT AS PASSION GRADUALLY MOVES TOWARD HER DUE DATE. NO BIG CHANGES SO FAR. SHE IS TESTING ONE ON THE MILK STRIPS AND HAS A LEMON SIZE BAG. I REALLY HOPE SHE TAKES HER TIME BECAUSE WE ARE GOING TO A HORSE SHOW IN WACO, TEXAS THIS WEEKEND. SHE WILL HAVE MARE SITTERS BUT I REALLY WANT TO BE HERE FOR HER FOALING.

OUR LITTLE 28" YEARLING FILLY 'WALDEN HILL THIS HEARTS FOR YOU" WILL BE SHOWN IN WACO AND ANNSLEY WILL SHOW HER TO TRY AND QUALIFY FOR AMHA YOUTH, NATIONAL SHOW. "CORAZON" (SPANISH FOR HEART) WAS SHOWN AT HER FIRST SHOW LAST WEEKEND, AN AMHR SHOW AND WENT CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS UNDER ONE OF THE TWO JUDGES. THERE WERE 13 IN HER CLASS AND 192 IN THE SHOW SO IT WAS A VERY EXCITING WIN FOR OUR LITTLE ONES FIRST SHOW!!

WE BRED AND RAISED THIS LITTLE FILLY SO SHE IS SPECIAL TO US.
