I just talked to Seidler Pleasure Horses....Gigi was getting upset because no one was down in the barn. They went down and picked her stall out and she had a beautiful Bay Filly at 9:00 AM!! They apologize for the camera being bad, but they didnt have time to fix it. So Congratulations to Seidler Pleasure Horses

Belle ligt ook al een hele tijd, dan weer languit dan weer op, ze is niet echt comfortabel. Was de 22e van februari uitgerekend.

her levels are getting higher everyday..i hope it is soon..i am officially exhausted..i hope at least you have been resting..i go to surgicare tomorrow at 2 to see how the bandaging is done and also the u.of florida is meeting me as well ..dr porter was one of the vets that saw inc several months ago..i think he will be able to come home late tomorrow..i am so happy about that but also worried sick about it,with all the what ifs...anyways came in to get a snack and saw your post and just wanted to say hi..im back off to the barn..miss belle is the starring role in tonites drama..she could get an oscar..lol..call me tomorrow and please get some sleep..you never know when i will be calling u ok..and one of us needs peepers that can see straight

Shanza & Nina Mulligunsranch

I agree Fetch....there were several times over the last couple nights that I thought "here we go" and then nothing. But she has to give it up sooner or later...my guess is sooner.

We have some really bad storms rolling through this afternoon/evening so that may bring on some foalings.

Precious seems ready with her full bag...still need to fill in her nipples.

Shanza's bag is enlarging quickly and Tonja is getting a bag, so Rowdy will get the boot and Tonja will come in. I have never done so much stall shuffling in my life. lol

Shandy needs to get down to business...day 343? We're just breaking all kinds of records... and she is making NO changes...just sitting there on the teeter totter

We changed out lights today trying to brighten Nina's stall, but we have an issue with one of her lights so she's only 1/2 lit.

I have a doctor's appt today at 1 so if something happens please call Shannon - her # is the 2nd one on the list 803-466-0216.

Thanks for helping us keep an eye on our ladies in waiting.

Niki

Niki has a very loose vulva this morning and her bag is very full. Instead of switching Cam 1 to outside when she goes out, we are going to switch Cam 2. That way if we have to bring her in to foal, no one misses anything with us too busy to switch cams.

I have to run in to town and work for a while, so ANY help watching is MUCH appreciated! Elaine is here, but doesn't watch 100% of the time. If you see Niki go down PLEASE call Elaine on the ranch line at 303-621-7774. THEN call me at 303-396-8887. THANKS!!!!

Emerald Kitty

Cam is back up. My computer did some auto update thing and restarted itself.
Her tail is wrapped. Who knows what she has planned but I decided to be on the safe side. Her milk is still very sticky - not quite as white as I would like to see it but she is dripping. Her back legs were milk covered so she had a little sponge bath.
She is not pleasant to be around right now although she did enjoy her grooming but as soon as the session ended she was back to pinning her ears, biting her sides and kicking out with her hind legs. Poor maiden mares.

Jamaica

Jamaica has straw making changes since this morning dont see her going for a few days but time for straw anyway..lol we are in the path of a big storm its headed this way this afternoon so mares are in and so is the rest of the gang..
if anyone sees anything i should know about please let me know
Dottie and Jamaica are in a race ..dottie is a nose ahead of her..
Jamaica's first date with superclass was Dottie's last date with heartache..so if jamaica took on first breeding then she could go a few days early
in reality there is no true due date for mares..lol they will have it when its good and ready..

Both of these mares have come on in recent days. Both have built good bags and have calcium levels that are slowly rising.

I will try to do a better job of posting at least once a day with updates and will start with the results of the milk test this afternoon.

Lacy

I though sure Lucy might show us some action last night. She came in cranky and was sweating. She has edema on her underbelly and is jsut miserable. Lace was a bit warm last night too but wasn't acting nearly as uncomfortable as Lucy. Well the wind and the rains continue today and I will leave the mares in their stalls. er stond gisteren zo mooi iets over een test van de melk en dat ze wrs binnen 24 uur zou gaan, dus tenzij die test echt nonsense verkoopt zou ze vanavond toch wel moeten gaan!
(Zouden de eigenaars niet ongeveer nu weggaan? dat moet toch wel wat zeggen, kom op merrie, cadeautje voor de baasjes als ze terugkomen? Knipoog

Nancy begint zo te zien duidelijk meer last te krijgen van het veulen wat er af moet komen. Je ziet d'r constant met de voorbenen even wat buigen en volgensmij als ik naar de buik kijk zie ik drijvende weeen Lachen
