Moet je nagaan dat ze ook nog rolt als ze de birth alarm om heeft met anti-rolsingel.

I will try and give everyone a little run down on Miss Spin... Spin came off the Del Tera dispersale sale in May 03, I was not at the sale but went to the MT Airy sale in July of 03 and there she was very scared would not let you get near her pin she would Spin and try to kick you.. Spin had a beautiful filly at her side, we bought them and brought them home. I was so excited about our new horses.. Spin would not let anyone near her baby, if you went in the pen she would spin around and try to get you... Spin came with a WCMHR application and it stated that she was 14 at the time.. Spin is now 16 or so... Spin has came a long way in the 2 years that she has been here with us, she does not try to kill you anymore but she will not let you halter her without a big fight so, I leave her be.. Spin will walk up and take apple treats from my hand but that is as far as it goes. In the last 3 months she has gotten to where she will come in the barn and go in a stall but don't try to touch her!!!! I will tell you that I love her very much and she has a forever home here with me.. Spin is bred to Doc ... Spin is due 4/25/05.. We are praying for a smooth delivery... Spin has small bag from what i can tell, I have to get down on my hands and knees at a distance and look at her udders, remember can't touch.. The foal looks to have dropped and she is sunk in the flank area.. I will try to keep everyone updated on how Spin is progressing...

Baby is doing very good and seems to have accepted the fact that Socks is in a better place now.. Thanks again to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers and wonderful post..

Update Careless:
Well - what can I say -I am just be-dazzled with Careless. It is hard to believe that she has not foaled yet - her & Daffy were bred at the same time and now Daffy's colt is 11 days old. IT CAN'T BE MUCH LONGER!!

I have started to hit the low alert numerous times already and then she would stand up and go to sleep (something I haven't done much of) but guess Mother Nature knows best.

I have let her out for a couple of hours today to stretch her legs and move around freely hoping something will change. All I can say is we are watching closely and praying she will go SOON!

Update Pay, Wren, Spirit & Rosie:
Well, Payadora is close. no wax yet. But the milk is cloudyish....not white yet. But def not amber, so we could be fairly close.

Wren.........well, no gaining. She is belly kicking alot and doing other strange things. But I would say typical maiden things.....she may hold out on us awhile. She certainly enjoyed the mud.

Spirit, is filling on one side and not the other..........I have her in an indoor/outdoor...so she isnt as traumatized by the in. I feed her in. She's getting better. At first she would run in and take a bite and then run out. Now she will stay inand eat.

Rosie, now looking on time for her normal 330s

Update Lilly:
Well, not much difference from this afternoon. Poor Lilly's fluid is so thick now that is was congelled like by the time I got to the house with it. She's at 302 days today so well within her "safe" zone. I just don't know what is holding her back. She's been a Fast 5 now for two weeks.

I'll be gone to the airport in the early AM but David will have the beeper. Watch her decide to go then and I miss the whole thing!

) A couple pushes and we saw a bubble, by the time I got to her we had one front leg and the head. Yup, I said one leg ;-( I sent Barb back to the house to call the Vet and Cassie got up only to lie back down and pop out the foal even with the other leg folded back. Both Cassie and her daughter seem to be doing well.

Update Taffy:
We now have 2 cameras, out of 4, watching Taffy as she starts looking more and more ready to foal. For those that don't already know, 2 cameras are needed to cover each of the large foaling stalls. Each of the mares have an attached turn out, typically open throughout the day that is not currently covered by a camera(s). The site will automatically sequence between the 4 cameras, giving each view approximently 20 seconds before switching.

We hope to upgrade to some other features and improved camera quality on Taffy's stall as soon as possible. Eventually you'll see a different link for each stall and perhaps even one for showing riding lessons. We are very excited about the idea of distant family members or friends being able to view you or a childs riding lesson from the web site.

As a side note, Taffy has a very different personality than Strawberry. She is a very protective mother and can even try to hold off labor if she feels threatened in any way. Her foaling will only be able to be seen on the web sites Barn Cameras. Our expectation at this point is for Paige to be the only one assisting Taffy, if needed. Mariam and our trainer will be outside the stall while Scott (Taffy doesn't allow any men near the foal) watches from inside the house, in case any problems develop. We hope that you will enjoy viewing this extremely special experience with us from the comfort of your computer at home. We are prayerful that Taffy would have the same foaling experience as Strawberry, PERFECT in everyway!
