Bij Dusty Rose is de cam van lacy en haar veulen af en op een andere merrie met ouder veulen gezet?

Geen update te vinden. Ik heb lacy alleen maar steeds zien liggen sinds de bevalling, hoop dat het goed gaat allemaal

as everyone knows we have no foal yet. she is munching alot due to hay in her stall all the time now. we didn't want her eating the straw. and as everyone knows Friesians LOVE their food. Our fingers are crossed that she foals soon. we had more waxing this morning. thank you all for being our extra set of eyes. hopefully she will give us what we have all been so patiently waiting for.

Update Lizzie

Thanks to all of the watchers overnight so I can rest.

As an aside -- Sammylou -- looks like you are from the UK. My younger son is dating a British girl right now who is here going to school. We love her! She's a great young woman.

The mare is still cooking along today. No changes. Still waiting for wax to appear. Coffee It was still pretty warm this morning, so left the blanket off, but watching the temp -- will probably reblanket in a little while and take her for a brief walk to stretch her legs out of the stall. She can go out again in the turnout in the afternoons the next several days, since it is going to be very cold at night and the ground will freeze up.

die vanochtend bevallen is

Lacy is fine she lays down alot right after foaling for a couple of days that is just her thing and he has learned to nurse with her laying down lol. Spizzler did that last year her colt from last year. Thank you for your concerns i'm glad your all watching he is doing really good and is a very strong colt. He is 23 in. tall which is a tall colt. Thank you all and lots of love to all my marestare family.

Chloe' is a new for GVF this year. She is a 4 yr old Cremello ASB mare in foal to the Hanoverian stallion Waldaire and is due March 3rd. Chloe is a maiden mare and is starting to bag up earlier than we would normally expect. Because of this, we are keeping a close watch on her. We will keep you posted on her progress.

Sunday, due?, Magic due 3/01 @ Stormy Acres
There is not much going on with either mare. Sunday has been acting a bit off, not sure if that is just her or she is getting closer, well I guess each day passes she is getting closer, just wish I knew when she is due for sure. Her bag is starting to firm up again slightly more then before. As you can see they aren't wearing their alert system, I broke the pocket pager. I ordered a new one and hope it gets in soon. So I am not sure what they have been doing at nights, I haven't seen anything unusal the times I pass the laptop and have them up. I really hate not being real close to them without that pager. Magic is coming along and should foal close to her due date, last time she went over 5 days, so not sure what she will do this time. Maybe if it is a filly she will foal on time or early? I can hope!
Thank you for watching them and feel free to call me if anything comes up. I would rather get a lot of false alarms then nothing at all and something happen to either mare or foals.

Maggie, Essie, Scarlett @ Fields Quarter Horses
Update for 2/17/9...

Maggie- Cams 1 & 2. Tummy has changed shape today. Could be anytime. 342 days today. Her owner says she will not wax and will need assistance foaling. She is pretty miserable and walked in from turn-out very slowly tonight.

Essi- Cam 3. Essi "appears" to be the closest to foaling tonight. She is waxed, tail is soft, foal has dropped. She is 336 days today and has not carried a foal this long previously. She tends to foal early so we are calling her OVERDUE based upon her foaling history.

Scarlett- Cam 4. Maiden mare- 354 days today. She's looked likely to foal the last few nights with some uncomfortable, agitated moments and then settles down.

Any could go? Will they, who knows? We now have 6 mares over 330 days at Fields Quarter Horses so are needing to pop some of these girls. Perhaps we'll arrange line-dancing lessons for them?
