Moonie - Due 2/3
This is our Moonie a bay 2000 Arabian she is a wonderful experienced mom and will be 340 days 2/3/10. Past foalings have occurred on day 335 and 332. Moonie has started bagging now and has become a loner when turned out in the herd.

Emma - Visions Cardigans - hond
Today may be the day. She was restless during the night. This morning all she wanted was belly rubs. She DID eat her cookie when I offered it to her. She is now in her bed napping, but is NOT comfy... so something is going on! The cam is up.

Ik plaats iedere dag de updates van alle interessante cams.

De een vindt lama's geiten schapen honden en andere niet paard-beesten leuk om te zien de ander niet.

Over het algemeen doe ik 'smorgens en 'savonds iedere dag uitgebreide updates en overdag wanneer de tijd het toelaat tussendoor alles wat ik tegenkom op MS.

Nog een nieuwe maiden merrie:

Hey gals! I am Timmery's good friend, will show her this thread- she is not use to the marestare stuff yet so will make sure she gets on and gives us the whole scoop! I do know she is a maiden and has started a small bag but nothing to get too excited about yet, but we all know that can change in an instant! The mare herself is something to speak of, but I'll let Timmery brag on her

Velvet - Dusty Rose Miniatures - due 26 january
To everyon a very wonderful year to all of you. Velvets little bag is coming right along i think she might be on her due date or pretty close there. We are real excited about her foal as it could be a blue roan. I thank you all for watching her as it is always scary when the are first time mommys and if you see anything call me it doesn't matter what time. some times during the day she will be outside if the weather is nice. Lady - Kruger Ranch - due app. 28 january
Normally we would have her expected due date around February 7th,
but her previous owner told us she doesn't carry as long,
so, based on her past history,
we will be keeping a close watch with a
possible due date being January 28th.

Lady is already bagged up & actually looks like she is further along
than our "Moka" mare who is due around the 23rd.
So who knows who will go first

Moka - Kruger Ranch - due app. 23 january
Some of you may remember "Moka", as she foaled "Cookie" on camera here on Marestare last year.
She was a maiden last year & we had a heck of time getting her to let little Cookie nurse.
Hopefully, she will be a better Mom this year with her 2nd foal, but we will be watching her closely, just in case.
Her 2009 breeding dates were February 8 - 10 & 13
She was preg checked in foal on Febrary 27th
We estimate her Due Date to be around January 23rd, 2010

Cat – J bar S Ranch – due 4 february

Ditto – J bar S Ranch – due 19 january

My girls are on cam all day today and tomorrow. We are really cold here for the next 3 days and it is just too cold and the wind is blowing too hard for them to be out. Just wanted to update so y'all know they aren't in and on cam because I think they are close. Also - during the day right now normally - I turn the cam off in the barn when they are outside, so if you pull up the cam during the day and it is fuzzy lines - the cams are off til I bring them in at night.

Cat's bag is still huge, but nothing else new on her. Ditto's bag has gotten a little bit bigger overnight. I was to go pick up Didi today, but we have icy roads - so NOPE - not pulling a trailer in this. Will either wait til tomorrow or Saturday. She is only about 20 miles from me - so it isn't a hard ride and she trailers very well. I will post once she is here. I will also try to get signs up in the stalls today or tomorrow with numbers on them and will post on the top of the who is in which stall.

Kelly - Due 1/15
Well to my surprise, Kelly had a tiny bead of wax on one side this morning. Her teats still aren't very full, but are softening and starting to come down. I was actually able to finally get a hold of one and squeeze this morning, and her milk is still pretty clear, but she IS a maiden, so who knows... The few drops I did get out were fairly sticky, so it looks like she may be thinking about getting down to business fairly soon.

Emma - Visions Cardigans - hond
We have a refusal to eat. Emma may be my first Cardigan to actually read the books! She wanted to bury her breakfast in her blankets so I placed her bowl near her water dish and she wanted it, was staring at it for a bit, but didn't eat it and snuggled back down in her blanket. I think it will be this afternoon before she does something. I may lay down for a bit since she is napping as I didn't sleep well keeping an ear out for her last night.

Tea - Starlight Ranch - due 10 january
Well as you can see no baby, but her bag is progressing much better than hoped so that is a really good thing!!! Tea is also back to her sweat self which she has not been for about four days, what ever was going on has settled down for a little bit.

She does have her uncomfortable times but is resting a lot longer and more soundly than she was doing at the first of the week. We were affraid she was going to go and her bag was definately not ready. Tea is just three days from her due date!! so pretty much anytime she could show us her special package it is all up to her and the baby.

Tom is at home today, so I went into work. He will be updating me if there are any major changes which I will pass onto everyone.

Patience is not easy when we all want to see this baby, but at least the foal is full term so the important part is that Tea build a good bag and has strong colostrum to give to her baby. The colostrum did arrive so we have everything ready to go, just waiting on the Tea.

Tom will probably turn them out for a while later today in the pasture, but they will only be out for a couple of hours and then back in.

Leuk! Die zat ik al te volgen...Jammer dat ze niet temperaturen, dat is bij honden namelijk vrij betrouwbaar. Dat deden vorig jaar mensen bij een aantal anderen ook, dat gaf wel zekerheid of het die dag wel/niet ging gebeuren.

Trouwens, over Het onzin-offtopic-topic voor de Barncammers. Wat is het verschil? Hier mag je niet "hij ligt" en "hij is binnen" en dat soort gepraat plaatsen toch? Maar wel reacties geven over de updates? Ik weet niet zo goed het verschil...

Temperaturen is inderdaad vrij betrouwbaar, jammer. Ach, des te spannender is het nu.

Ja, speculaties e.d. en onzin geklets is allemaal voor het OOT en dit topic proberen we netjes en schoon te houden zodat je niet 3 pagina's geklets hoeft door te lezen voordat je updates vindt.

Ze is steeds getemperatuurd. Gisteren was ze op en gegeven moment 98.4 of 98.6, er werd toen vermoed dat dit 'the drop' zou zijn, maar blijkbaar niet dus..
