Ik kreeg net wel die mail die jij ook gehad had over wisseling van de server.

Ja die kreeg ik ook voor een 2e keer. Maar ook via dat IP nummer doen de cams het niet.

Nee klopt, dat had ik ook al gelijk geprobeerd.
Het valt me nu wel op hoeveel je mist op zo'n pop up.

Copper is weer wakker Gestoord

Al de 3e keer dat ze lag vanavond.
Ze komt echt niet aan rusten toe op deze manier Ach gut

De cams doen het gelukkig weer en ik zie dat Star van Waldenhill een kleine Star heeft... schattig en heel klein!

Ik ben nog niet helemaal prut maar ga wel werken Doei!

Star en Curly Sue hebben allebei een veulen gekregen vannacht.
Bij Curly Sue leek het mis te gaan en de camera ging uit.
Ben toen weer op bed gegaan en later kwam er een high alert voor Star.
Dat was floep en er lag een veulen achter Haha!

Kan op hun MB nog geen updates vinden, alleen dat het met Curly Sue en het veulen wel toch goed gaat...

We brought Baby and Socks home today to give the proper care they need.
If you have been watching the cam you know our vet has been here for the last 2 hours helping us. We are on 24 hr foal care, he is trying to nurse on his own but he is still very weak, we have to give him IV fluids every hour on the hour and antibiotics every 12 hrs. We will also be giving him extra milk in between the times he is not trying to nurse. At this time it is hard to say which way he will go. We drawed some blood and spun it down and it was not good but our vet said with the fluids and extra nutrition hopefully that will change.

I will try to post a update later tonight in between feeding and fluids.

We would like to Thank everyone for all the thoughts and Prayers. Please keep them coming because this little guy is not out of the woods yet.

Socks has been up and walking around on his own tongiht. We have not left his side . He will nurse from mom but is not getting as much as we would like. He is more active here at home than he was in the hospital. They did not help him stand as we have been doing once he gets to his feet he can walk around.... We were going to place a feeding tube but the one they sent home from the hospital was to big for him... We will be checking on getting him on the perinial nutrtion tomorrow.. He is getting his IV fluids every hour, he gets 28 ml a hour.. Gotta go he is up again..

Update Tennessee & Tinkerbell:
I have tonight moved Tennessee back into a stall where we can watch her on camera. I have not been sure she was in foal but feel rather confident tonight that she is. Tennessee has a history of going well over the 326 days.

We will just have to watch both Tennessee and Tinkerbell closely. Both have Breeder Elerts on and thank goodness we will have had some rest and won't be asleep when one foals. This will be Tenessee's third foal so it isn't any new to her. She will probably have a real small foal if she follows past foals.

We will see how things go as we may be moving Tennessee ahead of Tinkerbell.

Two foals within 5 hours, now THAT is a first here for sure. Now I need to run for a load of hay .... pictures when I return.

Nothing New....................
Pay has cloudy/clear fluid...but no milk. A few days yet it would seem.

Wren, nothing new
Spirit, gaining
Rosie, gaining
But wren and spirit, older maidens.........so who knows "really" what they will do.

Nina is bagged up and waxing. She can go at any time. Wished she's tell up when! I wrapped her tail. Starlite is also bagged up but has a ways to go and Takilah is bagged up too. The race is on.

Update Tammy:
Tammy is getting close!
Both mares pages are updated! Tammy is VERY uncomfortable and I did the first milk test. pH was very low but the hardness can still go up some. Better start keeping a close eye on her though. She does not give that great of signs like a lot of waxing and stuff. She just kind of decides it time and has it! Reba is also progressing, but TOO FAST! She needs to hold off at least 2 more weeks!

Update Lilly, Katy & Jenny:
Lilly has been showing some signs of early Labor for the last 2 or 3 hours outside. I went ahead and got them put up early so hopefully she'll get back down to business.

There are no changes this afternoon in Katy or Jenny.

I'll be sure to let you know if I'm sure that she's in Labor this evening.

Update Curly Sue & Star:
Gang,

So sorry things went like they did. I was on the phone with Agnes from Honeysuckle Knoll miniatures when the beeper went off. I went and looked and Sabrina was down. I rushed to the barn and the bubble was still not visable yet. When it appeared I could only see one foot and the nose. The mare was straining so hard. I felt the other leg turned back but Sabrina was a maiden and the head was coming out and I could not push the foal back in to straighten the leg. I called my vet and he was in his truck so came right over. We all felt after all the time had passed the foal was dead. He pushed it back in with the sack broken. He freed the foal and pulled it out . To our amazement we heard a giant sucking sound as she gasped for breath. He bagan to clear her airway and she came around, She and the mare were both weak but trying hard. I knew that we had lost our AOL connection because my husband called me on the cell phone. I could not leave to get it back on.

Before we could catch our breath Star went down to foal so I ran to the house, since my vet Dr Cooper was still here and Priscilla had arrived, to get the cam on and send out the high alert so maybe some of you would get to see the foal born. It is a black colt with a white star like his mom. He had a lot smoother start than Sabrina's liitle filly.

They have both nursed and we have heat lamps on them trying to dry them and warm them up a little. Hopefull Florence will with and have her foal tomorrow night. I am pretty worn out. It is so stressful when the foal and mare are in trouble. Thankfully it all ended ok.

I am looking on camera now and Curly Sue and her little filly are both laying down sleeping. Star is laying down resting and her colt is running circles around her and bucking. she is up now letting him nurse.
