Ah wat jammer, grote kleine Scrappy (wat een leuke filmpjes staan er van haar op) Ze stond weer onder de cam zag ik, het leek erop dat ze krampen/koliek had staat ergens.

Het is er. Weer gemist. Keek een uurtje geleden, nog niets aan de hand. Ze stond te slapen. Kijk ik net weer,en het veulen ligt er al.

Nee klopt het is nu de buitencam, ze verwachten haar elk moment Lachen

Ik heb hem even uitgezet, vind hem niet zo fijn kijken maar tegen de avond komt ze weer op stal.

Ik geloof dat ik er nu een veulen naast zie staan. Heb haar de afgelopen twee dagen ook in de gaten gehouden, maar heb het dus toch gemist. Op Marestare staat dat het een merrietje is.

Zo nu en dan zit ik nog wel eens op marestare te lezen
Er zijn nog steeds merrie's die moeten bevallen dit jaar Pling

Shadow
Not sure if this old gal is going to trick or treat us this month Shadow is an 18 yo black mare with a blaze that has really stumped us on foaling lately. We thought she was bred to another stallion last fall, so we put her in with our bred mares and stallion, Glow. Then she cycled late in the fall and Glow bred her. We took her out and then put her back in with Glow this spring. We did not think she caught last fall but now looking at her, she certainly is BIG! Lots bigger than she should be for an early spring baby. Lots of baby activity too. So we have decided to watch her on camera for a bit to be absolutely sure no baby arrives out in the chilly fall weather. Not really a bag yet but since we have never foaled her out before, better safe than sorry.

Added: We will probably be turning off the camera about 10 pm (EST) each night and back on the next morning, unless she really gets in gear more than she is now.

Hannah
We purchased Hannah earlier this summer and she was suppose to be due mid March. Well - we had her palpated about a month ago and found out that the fetus was much further along and our vet suggested that she is due end of Nov or December. I talked to her former owner and there were two times that her stud got in with the mares prior to the actual breeding dates. One date makes her due the end of November and the other makes her due the end of Dec/first week in January. With the changes that she is starting to have, I am leaning towards the end of November.

She has started to get a very small bag. She is a maiden mare, so it is very easy to see. She has also dropped and she went thru about 2 days of being off and I feel that is when the foal was repositioning as she was very distracted and pulled herself away from the other mares.

She is on cam every night now. I will be repositioning this cam this next week, as she loves to hide in the one corner. We will be adding some additional lighting too. Please do not hesitate to call us if you see anything that needs our attention. I keep her up on my tv at night in my bedroom and as she gets closer, I will move out to the living room with her on the big tv. I also have sound in the house.

Hannah is bred to a AQHA Red Dun Roan - Im Dun Teasin. He also carries a hidden silver gene. Hannah is a Smokey Black and carries a hidden Creme Gene - so this foal has several color possibilities.
