Update Amy: HELLO EVERYONE, IT IS 9:00PM PST AND I JUST CAME IN FROM CHECKING ON AMY. I HAVE POSTED A LOW ALERT. SHE IS SWEATING AT THE GIRTH AREA AND ON HER NECK. THIS COULD BE IT!!!!!!
Update Lacey & Bree: Special thank you to Heather and Jimbo {Marestare} for letting me drive them nuts getting the streaming cam set up and running. Lacey is on there Thank you thank you!!
Lacey and Bree both took mud bathes today. Lacey is upset, I didn't get them in until late, so she was not happy with me. Still waiting and watching, hopefully soon!!
Our Nanny Karen is being checked every hour now, if we go out and notice her kidding I will change over the cam to her stall really quick....she has started talking more, and seems to be uncomfortable tonight. Keeping an eye on her too now.....
Keep thinking healthy happy foal thoughts, now, happy healthy kids too.... ~~~~~~ nieuwe streaming cam via marestare: http://www.marestare.com/goodman.htm
Update Flair: Well our Flair remains in her holding pattern, with no change in a week or so.
She is getting irritable and when in the pasture she spends a lot of time seperating herself from Codi. Standing in the far side of the pasture all alone.
She is out in the Pasture again today. I have her in the back pasture today and do not have a Camera there yet.
I have turned the Pasture cam on just so you will not have to view an empty stall.
Update Missy: Missy has been active today and itching her tail. She is softer in back and pushed out a bit. Her bag has changed but still not dropped milk.
Tom and I have found it hard in the middle of the night checking on her when all we see is Jewel buzzing around the stall. So for now so we also don't forget to change the camera as we did the last go round. We will have the camera just on Missy at night until she foals. But will have the camera tuned on the group during the day so that Jewel can keep everyone entertained.
If I see more change this evening when I check her around 8:00 and 11:00 I will definately post.
We are not saying it will be this evening. But since Missy is a maiden we really have no idea what her signs will be. She is also one day over due, so we will be on close watch until she foals.
Update Lucy: Well I went out and gave her a good brushing She is very uncomfortable and I suppose 'could' foal tonight but I am pretty sure she will hold out another night. For all you night owls that keep an eye on these cams I have posted my phone number above so if you happen to see her foaling and I dont get out there within a few minutes feel free to call! 'night all!
Update Fixation: Fixation is due February 2nd. She is progressing well. Fixation had an accident this summer and cracked her pelvic bone. When we purchased her she had a dropped pelvic from a previous injury. Just so happened that the injury was to the same side. After the injury she was stalled for over 3 months and we expected her to lose the baby. She held her pregnancy but has been very slow to completely recover. She gets around very slowly and I don't antipate we will breed her again. So we will be on pins and needles through this delivery. It has been a long road for Fixation and she has been the easiest patient. She is one tough mare and we intend to make life a pleasure for her after she gets this foal raised. She is a TB mare and is bred to Eric and Deb Jarvis's Stud I Got Charisma. We look forward to the resulting foal.
Update Frosty: Frosty is taking her sweet time, her udder was a bit bigger today but nothing to get excited about quite yet. She is, as they say, big as a horse!! You have to watch her sides and guide her through the stall door so she doesn’t bump herself. Frosty still enjoys being outside, which we will continue to do for another week or two. It’s good for her to get fresh air and stretch those legs.
Update Olvia - Ellis Quarter Horses: January 23 The mare on the cam is Olivia. She is sired by Ima Cool Skip and is in foal to Kids Classic Style. Her due date is February 29 but she always foals a little over 10 months. She is 306 days today and I am hoping that she will make it to at least 310 days, hopefully more. I will keep you up to date on her progress. Sandy
