Bij de buren van Dar is vanavond ook een veulentje geboren. Helaas dus voordat we Missy zover hadden dat ze de cam ook online moest zetten Knipoog

Maar ze belde toen het water brak en we waren nog optijd om de hele geboorte te zien.

Vader van het veulen is dezelfde als de vader van het veulen van Squirt Lachen

Sad News about Babee
We lost Babee and her baby

We done all we could, her baby was backwards, before the vet could get here she started to bleed bad.... We had no choice but too have her put too sleep, either way they gave us, she wasn't going too pull through. I'm so sorry Babee, we saved her from an awful life....for her too lose her own. Michael posted for me as we were going too bury her and her little one, we have no idea what it was, it never came out....so we will just call it Babee Jr. Thank you all for being here for us. Ms Babee will be greatly missed by us all. May God bless her little soul, keep her in the green pastures. I will post more soon. Got too go tend too the other goats and horses, Thank you all again.

Well unless Missy makes some changes pretty fast, probably no baby tonight. But if she has more changes maybe by morning. If we notice changes we will update. Midnight and Dusty are doing really well!!!

Update Lily

2/1 - Lilly has a full bag but the teats not completely filled out, very soft around the croup and very uncomfortable. We are keeping a close eye on her! Gracie is sill progressing slowly with a small bag. She is a maiden mare so I am not sure what to expect out of her. She is due Feb 15. Maar oohh wat is het hier koud zeg! Gelukkig hebben ze daar wel heaters in de stallen maar dan nog is het vreselijk koud...

Hele lange update over Missy en Midnight.
Wel leuk want ze gaan morgen Lisa Lous in Midnight haar stal zetten,die zit ook tegen het veulenen aan.

Friday Starlight Morning!!! 2/2

Well as you can see Missy is still holding out, she is now 10 days overdue. But her activity level started to increase about 10:00 last night with lots of rolling and up and down. Maybe just maybe she is helping get that baby into position. So we will be watching her close today to see if she continues to increase her activity.

We will be heading to Kruger Ranch early tomorrow morning with Midnight and Dusty. Midnight will go through a vet check before she comes into foal heat. After much discussion with the vets at Midnights age it is best to keep her rolling then to give her time off as we might not get her going again. Midnight is very healthy, cleaned out well and if she passes her vet check will be bred to Obviously Morgaged. This is his first breeding season, Midnight will be an awesome test mare for this young stallion since we are aware of her production history. We are excited about this cross because he is a son of Kootenai Wildfire, with the same beauty his sire posses.

If Missy foals we will still take Missy up but one of us will remain home to keep an eye on Missy and her new addition to Starlight Ranch.

Once we return Midnights stall will be cleaned out and prepared to move Lisa Lou in. Once Missy is hauled to Kruger Ranch for rebreeding Samie will be Lisa Lous stall mate in the second foaling stall as we prepare her for show season.

2 veulens op 1 nacht, dat is pas mooi! Wat een plaatje het laatste veulen! Heerlijk koppie zit erop Haha!

Update Dirty Lady,
Foaling
History
One prior foal, in 2005. As a maiden mare, Dirty foaled at noon, 2 1/2 weeks early. She was half bagged, with no milk or wax. The night before she was restless during the same time frame.
Jan 31
Bag is about 2/3 full. Taking her time! Rubbing her tail on the stall wall has become more popular, which is promising.

She is looking really uncomfy right now and this mare doesn't give much warning before foaling. She's sneaky!
