Met een tweeling beval je sowieso altijd eerder volgens mij

opal was nu wel een beetje aan het graven.
Ben bang dat ik het ga missen want ik ga naar bedje toe

Ik ben wel benieuwd wat de afloop van het mysterie is, al lijkt mij het ene veulen toch iets ouder dan het andere maar dat kan ook aan het tweeling zijn liggen natuurlijk.

Oh ik lees nu dat het bingo niet is nou afwachten maar dan wie het wel is

De een lijkt idd ouder dan de ander, ik dacht al dat het aan mij lag! Ik ben ook erg benieuwd naar de afloop.

We went over to their house by 6am and tried sedating her but it did not help. She will bite, strike and kick the baby. Has NO interest in it.

They called the vet and they really didnt give anything for ideas. They hauled up there and got the baby colostrum. Tried again with the mare and nothing. Well we tried all the suggestions we could get and nothing helped.

The mare was scary aggressive. But good with people and with their gelding when she went back in the pasture!!! They were nuzzling each other!! She would let us milk her with NO issues. So it wasnt because she was sore. She just didnt want her near her. Vet said you can keep trying and see what happens but didnt feel like anything would change.

Sooooooooooo we brought the baby over here to our house. We hoped that one of our mares would adopt her. We tried 3 mares and the 3rd time was the charm! Our mare Skippy took the baby in right away. So she is with her new Momma and 2 week old sister in the foaling stall and doing great so far!!

super van de merrie en natuurlijk ook van de eigenaren die zo er voor zorgen dat er een flesse veulen minder is!!

Wat een aparte reactie trouwens van die ( originele) merrie, zo agressief worden en blijven zonder dat het ligt aan evt stuwing!!
