Misschien haar temperatuur? Normale lichaamstemperatuur is 96 graden farenheit.
Bij een naderende bevalling duikt de temperatuur naar beneden, daarom houden ze die in de gaten. Of daar hier sprake van is gok ik dus maar he

Heb het al gevonden, goeie gok

Temp is 99.0 and dropped .6 degrees in 4 1/2 hours..so I think by tomorrow something is going to happen.

OK..no more temps for Kiki!!! She hates it and she is now at 99.4 which means we are going back up and not down. So it is possible she dropped below 99.0 b/w 6:15 AM and 10:45 Am that is a 4 and a 1/2 time span..so maybe it dropped in there and then started back up again. She is panting more..she was out on the love seat...she was panting so hard..I thought...better get her to the whelping box...so she is getting close..or so I think so. I took her out for pee break..very little pee of course and poos are very small at this point. She only ate raw chicken necks this morning and not her regular raw "lamb" this morning..of course the most expensive Primal Grind and she turns her nose up at it!!! The chicken and turkey are less than half of what the lamb grind is!!! But hey she is a Princess and knows there will be more from where that came from.

I have an email from mom saying while she was out there she acted like/tried to pee 3 times while she was out there, but nothing came out....she wasnt sure what that was all about. But she looks quiet right now to me!

Update.. I can't believe she didn't foal last night, she was very active and uncomfortable. She had me up til 4 am... I went to check in on her this moring and her wax has gone from yellow to milky white and lots of it...so if things go like its supposed to but never does, she should go real soon..I'm at work watching but husband and daughter, who's 7 weeks from delivering her own baby, are there at home, she's resting and he's working..She helped with the night watch last night..

Morning update.....
Nelly still has gobs of wax. She's getting very sore and it's hard for her to get around. My husband will be in town running errands for a few hours this morning, so please call if you see her doing anything.
Maybe, just maybe she'll have this baby tonight.

Lou is EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE TONIGHT!!! She's been very active, moving around. Lots of baby activity jumping around in her flanks. This girl is misrable!! I do hope you all will help me watch tonight and call if you feel the need. Lou can't go much longer. She's been sweaty for a few nights now. YIKES!!!

Tayna at Painted Crazy has taken in her friend's miniature mare, Bella, who was just brutally attacked by Rottweillers. She is torn up very badly and they're not sure at this point if she'll be okay. The cam is on dialup..so if it freezes that's why. Tayna is exhausted and has asked for extra eyes - she needs to sleep for a bit.

Please contact her if there are any signs of distress. She is still bleeding some so if you see that don't be alarmed unless it looks severe. Tayna asked that you contact her if you see her down and rolling or if there are issues with her blankets, etc.

Ze zijn er een moslim hond van aan het maken met een handdoek als hoofddoek omgeknoopt. Hond vindt alles best.
