The mare on cam has a full, tight bag and is streaming milk! Vet says she should go within 12 hours. Also, they are having some issues with lighting, so you can adjust the brightness on your cam by right clicking on the cam window and going to video settings. Let's watch this lovely mare and cheer her on as she foals!!

*PETUNIA* Pattis Ponys

All right, well.....I am here...STILL NO BABY! Went to moms today and her bag is FULL, white milk, no more wax. She is READY, but she just will not do it!!! I am beginning to wonder if the NEXT mare due to foal is going to beat her to it!!!! ARGH!!!! We surely dont want to have to try and do the guessing game again like we had to do with Sprite!

I know what you mean about her do something a little different and you think...ok, now is the time??? Well, I went in there to pick up all her wonderful little Petunia Piles earlier and found one NEAR HER HAY????? WOW, NEVER!!! I thought....hmmmm is she going to soon? I guess we will see. I was really hoping that she would finally throw in the towel and have the first filly of the season for us last night.....was hoping I would go to moms and get to see the new baby...but, well, no such luck!!! MAYBE TONIGHT!? SIGH, PROBABLY NOT!

Well, she's about the same except for her wax is no longer on her teats. She seemed like she was really comfortable and not disturbed by anything.
Only time will tell!

*CANDY* van Wolfden..verwachten ze ook heel snel een veulen!!!

Candy is as wide as she is tall! Her bag is fully developed, but not "there" yet (think bovine ) She is in foal for a Mandate baby, she is a 14.2 hand reg. Paint. She has just started to develop some edema and usually foals between 320 - 330. This will be her fourth foal. As I type this with a tired brain, I am remembering her gestations gradually getting longer. Her first two were by a small Welsh pony and were 320, and 324 respectively. Her last baby was a Mandate, and she went 330. So far, she has been predictable as far as her bag development being a indicator if impending labor.

Bumping because she is getting close. She goes between 320 and 331 - today is 322. Full bag (cow udders), grumpy as all get out, and is very territorial as of yesterday. No "real" wax (just little beads), but once she starts dripping, she goes within hours.

Keyla is making alot of progress. She's a small mare and this is her first foal.

Keeping a close eye on this girl. Noone seems to following the rules this year. Does anyone have an extra copy of the foaling manual written in horse? Extra eyes are always appreciated.

*RANIA* Silvercreek (ook altijd een mooie cam!)

Rania is a very quiet mare that does not seem to be disturbed by much. When she sleeps, she really sleeps! She is getting closer, but still no milk. Her owner says that she always goes early, but mares never play by the book.

Tordis and Thalia are doing great with their new foals. None of the mares have gone out for a couple of days as the weather has been miserable with cold rain and thunderstorms. We will be breeding Tordis and Thalia soon to Cathalido.

Rick just called me to check to see how the cam is working. I told him that it's up and running.

She isn't due until May, but she has been waxed for two days now and the milk test tonight at 8:00 said that she could foal within 24 hours.

Rick & Ellen won't be home until midnight tomorrow and he really hopes that she waits. Her last foal had difficulties and they had to pull it out

Anyway, I'll be watching her for maybe 30-45 minutes then I have to hit the hay. Hope there will be some all nighters watching her for Rick. He really would appreciate it.

*MYSTIC* Memory Farm...OOK EXTRA EYSES NEEDED Knipoog

cam is niet echt duidelijk.....

Hello All,
On Cam now is Mystic (My Style is Cool) she is a seven year old brown AQHA Mare. She is bred to our Gold Champagne Stallion Champagne Cool. She has a fairly full bag and began bagging on 4/4. This is our first experience with marestare and we have two mares to foal so we may switch the mares around so that the one we feel is closest to foaling is in the stall that is on camera. Please let is know if you see a mare foaling and no one is in the barn. Mystic had a beautiful bay filly last year and went about week early. Thanks for all of the eyes!!!!!

PS My mom lives at the farm and is just a few feet away from the barn, I live about 15 miles away and have yet to see a mare foal, I always get there just in time to see the baby being dried off, I am really hoping that this year with the help of Mare Stare I will get to see at least one baby born!!!!

Nou prairiewolf..... ik kijk met je mee maar niks nakkes nada dus. Jullie zijn maar bofferds hoor, met dat mooie weer. Hier is alles hartstikke bruin met nog enkele oude sneeuwhopen. Als iemand eens even een kijkje wil nemen op mijn gewone webcam mag dat hoor. Even prive dan want ik moet hem aansluiten, staat niet altijd aan. Ik zie hier overigens geen veulens in de weiden, te vroeg in het seizoen denk ik.

Nee, volgens mij werkt mijn aanwezigheid averechts hihi. Mijn buurman heeft vorige week een veulen gekregen bij zijn merrie. Dus ik kan geloof ik beter uit het raam kijken dan naar mn pc Haha!

Lisa posts updates on her message board. You will have to register to see them though. Here is an explanation that Lisa put on her board. Last update he stood with a little assistance for a few mins. This was an improvement. Lisa believes in a couple days he will be much better. He's eating like crazy. Very healthy appetite.

Tammys baby is slightly contracted at both the knees and fetlocks. Its really not to bad at all but enough that hes having trouble standing and walking. I have wrapped both ankles to hopfully help him and will have to syringe feed him as necessary until he can stand and nurse on his own. Hes got plenty of try so I think he will be able ot get up and move around on his own soon. This should correct just fine in a day or two.

So now we’re thinking we really NEED to get more then one barn cam… THIS IS CRAZY!!!

5am central time, Rebel FOALED A STUNNING BLACK HALF ARABIAN FILLY!!!! She is BLACK with a big white blaze/bald almost; 2 Tall Front Stockings; and little belly spots… hehehehe

She and mommy are doing GREAT! Last time Rebel foaled with us we had some issues but this time everything went VERY smoothly!!! Rebel cleaned right away and filly has already found the milk bar… I think Rebel took lessons from Luna this year and it was a textbook delivery!!!

We don’t have a name yet for this little girl… Let me know if you have any suggestions!

I think everyone out here at the ranch is going to need to sleep for a week… except somehow I have to get to work today…. Arrrggggg…. Okay I feel a cold coming on… cough, cough????
