Als we ergens inconsequent mee zijn, is het met buitenzetten. Soms staan ze om 8 uur al buiten, maar het kan ook wel eens 9.30/10.00u worden.

Puzzel had witte harsjes vanmorgen. Ook al had ze willen bevallen vannacht zou ze het nooit gedaan hebben, haar buurvrouw was ontsnapt en heeft de (hele?) nacht op het grasveld voor haar stal staan grazen. Dat is natuurlijk veel te veel onrust.
Puzzel staat nu voor het eerst dit jaar op de wei, misschien dat dat haar overtuigd dat het echt voorjaar is. Een geweldige tijd voor een veulen.

JJ COLT< TRIPLE K -but possibly 3 more tonight!!! More moving into barn!!!
HI, we are so excited,what a foal, yes, a stud would have ordered a filly, but this guy is exceptional, JJ just has a regular white stripe down her face, that is all, and a solid body, she is a BTU daughter, so we got brave and bred her to a BTU son,that has no pinto in him at all either, I guess this is what they call a cropout in the quarters, ha, JJ is one of our favorite mares, she has had terrific foals, and only time minimal pintos she was bred to Misty Moons Copy stud, as we used to own him and he is an unmarked tobiano, so this is very odd, but this foal has a bald face,but dark around both eyes, eyes are not blue and very splashy looking, he is a golden buckskin and already has the black mane and tail, even if I can say it, He is beautiful, long long neck and all high white legs, he is fun, now the bay next to her, has very very loose poop, so she should be tonight, and one of the cremellos we feel should foal tonight, Echo is coming in tonight,for those of you that know her, she has foals in about 5 different countries!!! So the fun is beginning, you know we dont even mind the beepers going off constantly if we could get some foals every day now, keep watch, we will soon be bringing all in, possibly tomorrow, the mares and foals will exchange places with the bred mares in the long shed,as we can lock them in at night for safety, and we have so many mares that are bagging up to 3/4 that will have to come in ,so tomorrow watch for the big switch,it will be one busy day, and hope we see you all again tonight,for another foaling, tami
