Update Cookie:
Exciting news tonight. First Cookie has the smallest amount of wax. Nothing huge, but something. She has been so tricky for us in the past we need to keep a close eye on her whenever we see any changes. She also has been laying down more today than in the past and her udder is bigger. Stay tuned, we will be watching her hourly all night. She has taken to sighing heavily and snorting out her nose frequently, like she is just totally fed up with the whole PG business. THAT should get our attention all through the night! She is doing very slow laps right now and we are afraid to make a fearless prediction. Could be tomorrow night…if it was any other mare I’d feel more certain of "not tonight", but Cookie has laid down and gone “boom” so fast and without much warning I just can’t count on it. Wax or no, we’ve got to watch.

Volgens mij hebben ze hem dit jaar ook helemaal niet aan

Andere jaren hadden ze hem ook maar heel af en toe een keertje aan.

Update Midnight & Missy:
Well we are starting to see more change in both of the mares. Midnight we have come to the conclusion the baby was sittting in a bad spot and was making her very agitates the past two weeks. Missy well Missy is reacting to everything.

But both are softening in back even more. Missy's bag has started to make noticeable changes even though it's still a bit hard. No milk coming out yet so at the moment she is just reacting to the foal moving. Midnight continues to drip milk, but from what I'm told this is not to worry about as it's not colostrum.

When Midnight gets down to business we will see she will stay agitated, will speat, paw in her stall and do a whole lot of circling. Once the water breaks she will be up and down a lot until the baby is in the right spot to come shooting out. So do not panic if you see her knock herself against the wall. It's one way they jar that baby into the right position. Scarred me to death the first time I saw her do this but realized it's all apart of nature.

Een aantal sites hebben de cam weinig of niet aan maar ik heb ze toch maar in de lijst opgenomen voor het geval dat ze ineens vlak voor het veulenen aan gaan ofzo

Update Georgia:
Georgia looks the same tonight. It all up to her body as to when she might foal now. Her bag is full and ready to go.
I looked under Scootin and Kay this morning and yep they both had small bags going now. You know if Scootin does this year like last she could foal in Feb. And Kay i know is a 10 1/2 month mare. so the time will go very fast after Georgia foals.
As long as you don't see a halter on Georgia at night you know she don't have any wax.

Raar dat sommigen hun cam niet aan hebben staan, daar hebben ze toch profijt van lijkt me....

Update Lu-Lu:
Jauary 15 Lu-Lu seemed to regress during the night and she no longer has wax. I am betting that it will be a few days before she foals. I have her outside during the day but will have her back on the camera at night---unless I think another mare is closer to foaling. In that case, I will have that mare on the cam. Sandy
