Starlight Ranch Update!!

Well as you can see no baby!!!!!!!!!!!! Other than Missy rubbing down my walls the past 12 hours no change in her milk. I am surprised I still have walls standing that girl gets serious about her scratching.

We are hoping she goes this evening or early tomorrow as we have to be gone tomorrow during the day. So hard planning stuff when you have a mare that is over due and not known to give a lot of warning.

Who and regarding Tea, when I said the CH was breaking down I meant the mass not the ovary. A CH is the first stage of an egg before it gets released, in this case it never released and kept filling with blood inside of her ovary which shut down her system. With the meds they have had her on and time the CH is breaking down which is allowing the other ovary not to be as stressed and starting to function normally. Today she receives a shot that should jump start her whole system to start functioning normally again. If this happens as expected they will start teasing her with "Classy Will" on Monday, who is a very good talker. So we have everything crossed that she will come into heat, will be bred and settle in foal. Tea is young and healthy just needed a little help to get rolling this year.

If Tom sees change in Missy during the day he will update me.

Starlight Ranch Update!!

Apache is the little black pinto mare, not real sure on her due date but she looks closer than Peaches who is due 2/22
I don't know if she is getting ready to foal or upset about the stall change. She didn't eat her grain tonight, and is very restless. This 29 inch mare was one of my Dad's favorite mares and I am foaling her out for my Mom. She is bred to their little gruello pinto stallion

Peaches is a palomino mare that I bought from my folks but the foal is my Mom's, she is bred to a red appy, last breeding from these two resulted in a black filly! Now how did that happen?

I really am not secure foaling out Apache since she is so tiny but she has had three foals in the past, the last being four years ago. The colt she had five years ago is my stallion Warrior and he was 21 inches at birth and she had him with no help, woke up one morning and there he was! She is also the grandmother to the colt born this morning

PS Apache is the mare who kept going down last night and keeping me awake.

well, I don't think Niki was lonely yesterday as there are 4 horses and 2 dogs (plus 3 cats) in the barn with her. LOL She just wants a chance to get outside, but yesterday we had snow. Shaz can't stay outside all day unattended yet (well, Creole can't anyway), so Niki has had to stay in with her to keep her company. I will put them out for a little bit this morning while I clean stalls, but then they will be back inside. Tomorrow they should be able to stay outside most or all day. Niki IS getting closer to foaling and is getting more uncomfortable, and so will hold her tail up more often. Her bag is getting pretty big, but still lop-sided right now, and Niki USUALLY gets an evenly full bag before foaling.

Hello all! Uptown Girl is doing well, holding tight to that baby. She's at the point of drop off and seems to be getting very close to the big finale'. Lacey who is behind her on cam is doing well also, for those that don't know about Lacey, she is a maiden mare and due the 1st of March. Her bag is not full but seems to be coming along for a maiden. For some reason I keep thinking of the quote that goes something like "better to remain quiet and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt."
Her bag was more or less back and she tested a 125 tonight.
I am going to bed for a day, a week, a month, whatever. You guys wake me up when the baby is ready to go to the track, that part I can handle!

Nancy's temp this morning was 100.6, normal, which is good, it means the penicillan is keeping the infection at a standstill and not getting worse! Yayyyy...no fluid yet in the bag. We shall see if she has it by the end of next week. If she doesn't then we will start to be concerned again. Thank you all for the prayers and emails!!! We even got a Valentines day card for Nancy from someone who was "anonymous"...hmmmm does she have a secret admirer out there? lol She is doing good, but definitely getting moody!

Hi Everyone!!! I just joined the board, and want to thank everyone for watching our girl Marty!! She is a tricky girl as I am sure anyone watching has noticed, lol, she will appear to go into labor and then all is fine. She has been waxed for about 1 week now. I am losing sleep and quickly becoming delirious Oh the joys of foaling. Keep your eyes on her, she will eventually foal, lol.

Soms vliegen de cams er wel eens uit, F5 wil dan ook wel eens helpen.

De cam van Missy ligt er hier ook al een tijd uit, maar het laatste wat ik gezien heb is dat Missy naar buiten ging, dus mogelijk is de cam gewoon even uit.

okee, bedankt voor de info, ik krijg deze melding bij aardig wat camera's terwijl dan het 'bolletje' groen is.

activeX staat erop trouwens Dana01! haha

idd EmDee, ik zocht naar Missy en die cam deed t dus niet.

heb 'al' 2 bevallingen gezien de afgelopen weken, vind het erg bijzonder!

Het is in Amerika zo'n 6, 7 en soms meer uren eerder in de tijd, veel cameigenaren zetten de cam uit als de paarden buiten staan.

Weet je wat ik trouwen swel irritand vind als ik dus op een link klik krijg ik de cam wel maar is bokt dus ook weg.

kyrkelover: de meesten hier openen een tweede venster (en 3e en 4e en... Knipoog

) zodat je naast de cams ook bokt gewoon kunt blijven gebruiken

Als je op een link klikt op Bokt, doe dat dan tegelijk met de shift toets, dan ben je bokt niet kwijt maar krijg je een nieuw schermpje, of met de muis op de link gaan staan en dan met de rechtermuisknop kiezen voor "openen in nieuw venster"

En de cams die ik open heb staan? Ik denk niet dat je dat wil weten Nagelbijten / Gniffelen

oh heel erg bedankt.
Ennuh jawel wil ze wel weten vorig jaar had ik er 20 tegelijk op staan.
Ik was als kind van 14 om 2 uur snachts nog aan het cammen hahahh hoe verslavend en ons mam deed gezellig mee in plaats van mij naar bed te sturen. En nou heb ik vorig jaar mei zoiets voor het eerst een echte bevalling gezien echt geweldig!!

De cams van Marije heb ik eigenlijk altijd aanstaan, en verder kijk ik op Marestare en zoek dan een aantal uit, en die volg ik dan ook dagelijks, maar eigenlijk nooit de cams waar iedereen op dat moment al naar zit te kijken. Dus ik heb een ietwat afwijkende keus meestal Haha!
