Zag net trouwens dat April zelf naar haar box kan lopen als ze dat wil.
erg grappig om de veulens van KZ en Fanali door het beeld te zien rennen

#205 (1/26)GrayMare;Cash**COLT 2/10**,Toastie (High Risk) @Nobles Farm thanks Ruth for your observations, i appreciate it very much. the colt has been latched on several times this morning and yeah that was me in the stall a few minutes ago! lol Cash is doing really well with this colt and to me is a very good mama..Cash has a small bag of milk so i am also keeping close watch on how the colt is doing nursing. he seems to be getting enough to eat. i am taking them to the vet in the morning to have Cash cleaned out and they will also do a baby exam to make sure he is doing alright. i snapped a couple of pics. one is from last night right after Cash foaled and she was still laying down and she was licking on his face. the other one i took a few minutes ago when you saw me in his stall... http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=noblesfarm
Nelly (2/21) @ Belcher QH's
Nelly is a little different tonight. When I was out cleaning her stall, she hasn't ate much hay and she still had some of her feed left. But the foal still appeared to be sideways and I saw it kick real hard. She seemed relaxed, but was acting different. So I don't know what's up. Maybe the foal is putting more pressure on her. For whomever called and left me a voicemail, my stupid phone wouldn't let me retrieve it, then it kept saying-you have no messages. Sorry didn't hear it ring, I was in the kitchen grading papers. I may have to do rollovers tonight & keep an eye on Nelly, but I really don't think it's time just yet. Thanks for watching her.
Alright guys the cam is back up and running now for tonight. Sugar seems to be a little ways off right now but she is still on track to foal on or before 2/22 which is exactly two weeks after she has officially "dropped" (her past three foals, she has been foaling within 2 weeks of her "dropped" stage - so hopefully she will stick with that). Her udder still needs work, however.
Allula and Missy still look to have a good deal of time left, still waiting on Missy to hit her 290 day mark on 2/18 and Allula has hit hers as of 2/8 so she is in the safe range. Praying for a healthy and happy foaling season!
All the extra eyes would be appreciated. I have to get sleep tonight because I have to get up extra early and get ready for my husband's academy graduation tomarrow. No worries, there will be a horse-sitter while I am gone! =)
A Kid In Color (2/12) and A Cool Concention (2/14) @ Whispering Wind Farm I think lexie is still waiting for warmer weather, I really have'nt see much change, Cc's bag has gone from almost non existant to full in like one day, If I bend down to even look at it she swishes her tail and gives me a I dare you to touch it look. I have never foaled out either one of these mares so i don't know if they wax or not.I think they do need so watching , especially cc www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=whisperingwind
Pokey (2/2) @ Giddy Up Mini Acres
Pokey's tail head mushier but still milk not testing quite ready. She is dragging her back hooves now and wasn't doing that before. She also was really MAD about going in stall tonight and didn't start eating her hay for a while after I left the barn, Took this picture with phone tonight http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=giddyup
