Topic: Ginny (4/8) @ Centaur Farms ** Dripping Milk**
Ginny is not being the typical foaling mare this year. She has been dripping milk for 3 days. Milk test over 500. Ph test towards 6.8. All signs for imminant foaling. I am hoping we are not going to have problems with this one. Most of mine go within 24 hours of those signs and she is going on 48 hours. Dripping alot. She is now 346 days. Last foal was 332 days.

I don't know what was up with her... I really thought she was going into labor. She was clamy and getting up and laying down. Her vulva was very long and relaxed but still no bag!?

So maybe tonight? Maybe a couple more days... who knows?!

Dun It (5/8) @ Rusty Acres *duimen dat ze deze keer geluk hebben!*
This is Dun It you are now veiwing on our cam. She is a maiden mare, so please keep your eyes open. She is not due until May, but I need eyes now as she is currently being treated for fescue toxicity. She is starting to get hippy, not terribly relaxed in the rear, but none the less starting to bag.

Dun It is a great little mare with loads of personality, one of my favorites. She will be one of the few minis remaining at our farm. She has great bloodlines behind her and the stallion she is bred to has even better lines. Both are Duns. He is a Duanalino and she is a Golden Dun. We have faith that this will be a safe and easy foaling and most importantly a healthy foal.

This is the mare I have referred to as my balloon mare, you can see why! She is a chunk, but we love her!

Update on Splash, when I put her in for the night her udder is pretty much the same as this morning. Tried to get some milk but she is not letting down yet. We will be watching her. May need to get this out. Really don't care when as long as everything goes easy for her and baby and mom are healthy. Melanie

Dream Due 4/7.@ McGuire Ranch.Eyes Please. She is acting in Labor tonight.
Dream is close. She has been up and down tonight and has been acting different. She does not have wax but did not do it the last time she foaled. Close eyes if anyone is up to watching. She has been up and down the last few nights and has changed her pattern.

"Friday" (4/26) @ Trio Qtr. Horses **WAX**
Ugh! I can't believe we didn't get a foal last night! Friday's udder is fully engorged and she even let me hand express from it tonight. That's a first. Thick sticky colostrum that is flowing freely is what I got. She has some bloody discarge arround her vulva...more signs that the mucous plug is giving way. Sooooooo what does all this mean???

Sweet Pea is back! @ BnDRanch due April 12th we have WAX!!
She has me utterly confused......
There is NO wax at all today, nothing, nadda, zilch, zippo........I have never had her do this (think I mentioned that already!). Her vulva is really relaxed and has a tad bit of bloody show but she has had that for a few days.
So in short I turned her out...we shall see what tonight brings!

5 MARES WITH FULL BAGS AT TRIPLE K AND 12 MORE WITH BAGS 3/4 full!!!
OK FINALLY, HERE WE GO, WE HAVE 5 MARES WITH FULL BAGS, AND ARE DUE NOW OR A FEW DAYS OVER, THEY ARE STILL IN OUR BIG BARN WITH THE REST, SINCE THERE ARE MANY MANY MORE WITH 3/4 bags, so now it is finally starting, yes, it can be busy in the open barn with all the mares, but ANY ONE OF THOSE ,MARES COULD FOAL AT ANY TIME, THEY ALL HAVE BAGS, AND WE JUST CANNOT GUESS WHO WILL BE FIRST, SO AS YOU SEE WE HAVE STALLS READY IN THE BARN, BUT NOT SURE WHICH ONES TO PUT IN, IT IS ANYONES GUESS, SOOOO, PLEASE HELP WATCH ALL THESE MARES, WE TRY TO WATCH THEM CONSTANTLY, BUT DO NOT HAVE MONITORS ON ANY YET, MAYBE TOMORROW SOME WILL COME TO THE BARN AND HAVE MONITORS PUT ON THEM, BUT HOPEFULLY WE CAN SEE THEM START ACTING ODD OR UP AND DOWN SO THAT WE NOTICE THEM STARTING LABOR, SO PLEASE HELP WATCH IF YOU CAN, SHOULD BE SOME VERY EXCITING WEEKS AHEAD, THANKS ALL, TAKE CARE, TAMI

HI Shawn, Tanya, and everyone else, and all you special people, we finally decided how to maybe seperate some of the mares, the small pen has the I better whisper, {the wimps} ha, and they seem to most of the time be getting along, tanya was here for a visit and got to see first hand all the mares, yes, it is fun watching, but makes us disgusted when they start getting crabby and chasing each other, but hope all of you enjoy watching them, it is not quite as boring as the stalls is it?? HA, LOTS OF ACTION most of the time, but hope you stick with us, we realize it is busier and harder for you to watch tho, but we will try to bring in the mares if we feel can decide who is ready first, but right now, the 5 have full bags and the rest half to 3/4 bags, thanks to all, tami

Zoals Puzzel nu staat te slapen, dan lijkt het alsof ze helamaal achterin staat. Terwijl ze eignelijk halverwege staat. De stal lijkt veeel kleiner via de cam.

Tinkers dragen hetzelfde als gewone paarden.

Puzzel heeft vorig jaar 328 dagen gedragen.. Maar ze heeft nu dus al sinds 295 dagen hars. Mijn theorie: Ze krijgt dit jaar een merrie. (Na 5 hengstveulens. :')

) Ik denk dat ze ongeveer op de 320 gaat dit jaar. Maar het is moeilijk, haar tepels moeten nog iets voller. Dat kan lang duren, maar dat kan ook over een uurtje zijn.

Nicole: Puzzel is den dramaqueen. Die doet niet aan boem-liggen-bevallen. Bij Puuz gaat het gepaard met een hoop gedraai, gekap, geflehm, gezweet ge-ik-ga-bijna-liggen. Je kent het wel.

Als je denkt: Dat veulen komt nu! Duurt het nog een uur.

Maar aan de andere kant, ze doet dit jaar met alles heel anders als normaal. Dus wie weet gaat ze nu wel gewoon liggen en bevallen, zonder de drama er omheen.

(Ze is ook een keer midden op een zondag bevallen, om 13u 's middags op een stralende dag. Niet normaal hoeveel publiek ze toen had. Alle voorbijgangers wilden dat spectakel wel even aanschouwen. :')

Toen was ze 2 weken over tijd!)

Ha, dat is mooi, als ik dus denk dat ze gaat kan ik eerst nog de paarden gaan voeren hier!

Oke, het gaat dus wrs goed opvallen dat het er aan zit te komen, dat is wel fijn om te weten, zit je geen uren naar een stilstaande merrie te kijken

pondarosa ging alweer paar keer achter elkaar liggen, die heeft toch wel plannen!
Of ze kon gewoon haar draai niet vinden, want nu ligt ze dan toch wel weer lekker

Volgens mij staat de merrie met touw aan de stalwand vast, en heeft ze gewoon ee staartbandage om toch??

het was een beetje zwak nadat het geboren was.

Ik kan sinds vanmorgen m'n cam niet meer bekijken. Ook sommige andere cams laden niet. Heeft iemand anders ook dit probleem?

Nee, ik heb momenteel 2 cams en barnalarm aan staan en ze doen geen van allen moeilijk.

Oh....zou je anders even mijn cam willen proberen? Dan weet ik tenminste zeker of het probleem bij mijn pc ligt of niet.

Die jcpaint-cam doet het trouwens wel, alleen staat moeders met d'r kont voor het kind...
