update Scarlett en Jordan

Scarlett really does need to get busy and share her baby with all of us because Jordan is catching up to her fast.

We let both of them out for a couple of hours today. Neither one wanted to have anything to do with the other horses and Scarlett actually kept coming back to the gate and wanting to go back in the barn. I still think it was good for them to be out for awhile and get some sunshine and move around more. Of course one of us was watching the entire time they were outside.

Scarlett is at the max on her tests so nothing can really change with her except to go in labor. Jordan is now testing 5 squares on her milk strip test but it still takes about 30 seconds for the fifth square to turn and her PH has not dropped yet.

Scarlett is now at day 328 and Jordan is at day 330 so both are in the safe zone for foaling. This is a new record for Jordan. The longest she has previously carried a foal was 321.

We are waiting, watching and are very anxious to see these babies. Please don't hesitate to call if you see either of them acting like they are in labor. Thanks so much to all of you who are helping us watch over them.

Gypsy waxed and milk test ready
New mare in the long (Forrests) stall is Gypsy Gold Chex. I have been keeping a close eye onher in the ladies in waiting barn as shes really developed an udder quickly and tonight she surprised me wiht some wax andher milk tests redy. Did a little switcharoo and Aleena moved off cam, shes really not looking very close at all and put Gypsy on cam. Shes an old pro and I hope follows the rules and delivers within the next 12-24 hours

lacey is testing 4 or 5 shades lighter than 6.4 for ph, also her milk is thick like syrup, AND she lost her mucous plug

Upon checking her this evening we have wax on one teet and a very slow drip on the other. Wonder just how long she will hold out now. If she doesnt foal tonight I will get pictures of the wax tomorrow.

Ik sta op het punt om een camera aan te schaffen, maar vraag mij nu dus af hoe je dat nu aansluit om via marestare oid te kunnen kijken??
En wat is een goede camera?

Dit topic is namelijk enkel voor updates en low en highs en dergelijke.

mijn vriend zei dat ze vanmiddag ook heel onrustig was en elke keer ging liggen, opstaan, liggen enz enz

Jongens het is wel weer even goed zo. Dit hoort hier allemaal niet.
Zo vreselijk onrustig is ze trouwens nou ook weer niet. Ook Scarlett vind ik niet anders doen dan normaal..?!
