Ja inderdaad, naar Texas. Maar daar ging het niet goed omdat de temperatuur en luchtvochtigheid heel anders waren.

Cams should be up and running on generator power finally (not sure how good it will look, but it sure bets staying with her in the barn).......I'm fixing to finally go to bed or at least lay on the couch and catch a few......

Her udder is huge, lots of milk, she was up and down all night and ansty - but we had ice, snow, tons of trees breaking ext...it looks like a war zone. We are still under ice and below freezing....

Update Schaap:
Everytime she goes to lay down, she starts circling, pawing, goes half way down a few times.. I'm sitting here thinking "Oh yes, this is gonna be it!!!" Then she does a few more circles, paws a bit more, puts her front legs down, starts dancing around with her hind legs still up, almost flips over backwards, then FINALLY gets her butt down. And promptly falls alseep, every now and then moving her back feet trying to not squish her udder.

When she finally does decide to lamb, we'll all be sitting here thinking, "Funny one, Uluru, we know you're just tricking us again." No one will know she is actually in labor until the bag starts to show! And we're all turning into zombies due to lack of sleep! So Uluru, please please please stop tricking us and get down to having them bouncing babies!

Ella update for 1/27/9...

Ella has begun swishing and wringing her tail tonight. When I did her bed check and nighttime stall cleaning, she was also kicking at her belly.

Please know that we received 6 inches of snow today, another 2 inches of ice, are expecting another 2 inches of ice overnight, and 3-5 inches of snow tomorrow!!!!!

Our local news stations are predicting wide-spread power outages so please keep your fingers crossed that we are spared. Thankfully, we are NOT in a rural area and are extremely close to major thoroughfares and services. Good news is hopefully if our power goes out- we will be restored quickly.

So, I'm finished trying to predict Ella- she's marching to her own drum on this one. Maybe she will/maybe she won't tonight!

Not much change in either of the girls. Looks like the one could if she got the move on, could go anytime and the other looks a little off still. Lily is looser in her vulva tonight and bag looks maybe a little bigger but no change other than that!

It is really cold here tonight again and it has started snowing so hopefully they will wait a few days until it warms back up!

Update

Well... I'm almost ready to throw away that refractometer and try the good old blackmail, no foal no food....
She is still testing almost 9. Not even a little jump to a full 9

She is getting a bit more irritated, rubbing her butt, shifting wait on her hindlegs. Last year she showed no real signs until 30 minutes before foaling so you never know when she will start.
Her hoohoo is totally relaxed and she has an arabian like tailhead, her bag is even bigger and she still has clear wax, everything is ready to go, except Isis....

I'll do roll over checks during the night but I appreciate so extra eyes on her
