Belle update:
please everyone go about your day i would hate to think of messing with everyones day.Belle is getting uncomfortable with her routine checks..i just took her out for her daily dose of dirt and to say hello to the other clydes..she really enjoyed her walk...she is making suttle changes like last time...she went pretty textbook and uneventful last time so she looks as though she will repeat.. i wouldn't think it will be before midnight so go on enjoy your day..Belle wouldn't want all this fuss over her...well okay maybe she would.lol...what messages are you talking about????i am not very puter literate..But i will check back going back down for another nap belle said i could....

UPDATE STARLIGHT RANCH
Well as you noticed it really snowed last night another six plus inches and is expected to snow more all day. We even had to dig the Samie and Lisa Lou out of there stalls this morning.

You probably also noticed that Missy and Midnight are getting very active. The foals must be moving around a lot getting into position. Neither of the mares are being active out in the pasture so far but want to give them as much time out today as possible since we are home to keep an eye on them.

Well both mares are off there feed, and have been active today. Midnight continues to drip milk and Missy is showing signs of first stage of labor.

So maybe just maybe tonight will be the night of at least one of them, still not sure which will go first.

UPDATE BRANDY
Ok! Brandy is VERY loose in the rear- still has sticky milk, wax plugs all day..... she has blood in her girly thingy- which we are thinking is that baby breaking through the membranes (our vet told us not to be concerned with this...)
So- hopefully tonight is it!

UPDATE BELLE
you guys when all this is over i promise to tell you the story okay but i want to make sure i tell it all and leave nothin out..and it will take a bit of typin and i am a henpecker on the keys so after foalin and i can sit back and relax i'll let it all be told ..last check her beautiful beyonce toush has started drooping and has pretty much fallen off the croup flabby ,flabby, flabby ..her teats and udder are swollen and touchy as soon as i put the flashlight under the belly she raises her leg as warning..so i know it's getting closer...hopefully we'll get this wrapped up.not to get anyones hopes up but last time she progressed like this from 8am till 11:30 and then foaled out at 4 am so lets all send Belle subliminals okay. cause don't think i can handle another nite on the funny farm with jack hannas wild discoveries..lol..caio till the wee hours in the am...

UPDATE SHEA
Shea gets up and then gets down...Eats a bit..But not thrilled. Ate her grain alright tonight..But really hasn't touched her hay. Drank a bit...Just flat uncomfortable!
Yeah, Bayou Kitty comes and visits Shea pretty often. I know the 3 cats are big mice hunters in the barn..The other 2 cats run from Shea, but Bayou rubs up against Shea and she nuzzles him. I am sure the racoons will show up!

UPDATE NOMEE
We might want to keep an eye on Nomee tonight. Their message board says she has had wax for 3 or 4 days. Her tail is braided & she seems much more restless tonight. She is usually very laid back from what I have observed! Also have seen some tail action, butt rubbing & yawning past few hours. Her due date was the 13th.
