Gigi heeft een flinke beenwond doordat ze met rollen in de omheining terecht is gekomen. Kreeg net wat foto's van Dar per mail en het ziet er niet fijn uit

Uier gaat er wel steeds meer op lijken.

Ik zet de foto's niet online, denk dat Dar dat zelf wel had gedaan als ze dat wil...

Ik las het net op het forum over Gigi, niet echt fijn.

Kijken jullie ook naar Lacy van Ellis Quarter Horses?
Ik kan het niet goed lezen (schermpje is te smal) maar het schijnt dat ze al overtijd is en ze verwachten voor het weekend een veulentje.

Het is me gelukt de tekst naast de cam te kopieeren:

I have changed the camera to the stall of Veils of Tulle. We call her Lacy. She is overdue to Exceptionist and I think she will foal before CJ Miss Cool Evidence. She does not have wax yet but i am guessing she will foal before the weekend.

Update Lacey & Bree:
Well the heavy rains are here. Lacey don't like the noise it makes so she gets upset everytime a hard shower hits. We wrapped her tail tonight cause I braided it....I want her use to me messing with her tail and her backside as we've never had a reason to do so with her, don't want her spooking on me if I have to be back there. She is doing fine. No signs that she will go tonight.

Bree still has a ways to go. Hoping that she is just one of those mares that does the "I'm gonna be a mommy thing at the last minute." We are keeping a close eye on both of these gals, Not sure if they will pull a fast one on us or not, but we are watching to make sure.

Just a quick note to let those of you on this message board know, that
we do have the barn web cams turned on now. Our first mare was due to
foal yesterday, but she still looks to be a ways off from foaling.
When she gets closer, we will focus on her foaling stall camera, but
for now, the indoor arena camera and her foaling stall camera are the
only ones turned on.

I will have the web cam turned on, whenever I am on-line & can keep the
browser open.

Bruce says no wax (well she does not really wax anyway or has not the last 2 years) and for us all to go to bed and get some sleep like he does
I'll check her in a bit before I head to bed.... but he knows what he is supposed to be looking for.

Update Midnight & Missy:
Well we are soaked, to the point I had to laugh after getting home. Tom had our two buckets we use to fill the mare buckets under the eave of the new wash rack filling up with rain water. They were just about full also and he had put out there around 4:00 so within an hour that is pretty good.

Well if you happened to be watching today both girls very active. Infact Tom was home and called a couple times asking me if I saw what they were up too.

Tonight Midnight has large thick globs of wax and is relaxed in back. She has been walking funny since early the morning almost dragging her back feet. We know the foal has to be sitting pretty far back to cause this.

We will will continue to watch and wait. Maybe she will be nice and foal early this evening. Well at least we can hope.

Missy is very irritated, bag is making small changes but still fairly hard. So she is one we will not take lightly as Midnight going into labor could trigger Missy.

Have a wonderful evening, we will post a high alert if one of there waters breaks.
