Lacey is still the same. No wax and no full udder yet. Another day goes by. She better get busy cuz it's riding time and I don't want to babysit all month. Please Lacey, foal this weekend.

Well I think we are getting a little closer - we checked Daffy tonight and did get fluid but not enough to do a milk strip test, but that was encouraging - don't know how fast she may change - we will update and keep a close eye on her.

well, mari keeps moving along. could be anytime. But i think we have a day or two yet, again. Bag is full, and black. teats filling, but no wax.

payadora behind mari at least a week, if not two at this point.

Wren, playing catch up and her bag is filling.

And Spirit is also filling.
Rosie is also.

so, all making progress..............

REY UPDATE!!!:

Word of the day......"WAX"....no, I take that back. It has been the word of the WEEK! LOL! I can not believe I am foaling out another mare this week! LOL! The due dates didn't really call for this. But, apparently Mother Nature rearranged things on me and didn't warn me! LOL! Oh well....here we go again, 'cause Rey's got wax! Go Rey Go!

She's really been off her feed today! Normally she's a Hoover vacuum cleaner, when it comes to her grain. She's been turning her nose up at it all day. Definitely is not feeling like herself. Good sign that we're getting closer! Yaaaaaaaaaaa hoooooooooooooo! This foal is a full sibling to Woodstock Con A Clu ("Corter"), who was a HUGE HUGE dude! He grew really fast and we only showed him as a weanling (during which time he won some futurities). We then just turned him out and let him grow up. Then sold him and he started showing late last Fall, as a 2 year old. At 2 year's of age, he was 16.2 hands already! Yes, you read that right....16.2 hands and still growing! Sadly he passed away after only a couple of shows under his belt and never got the chance to really get out there and get things done. But, the few times he did go, he WOWED everyone with his size and quality.

We have kept, for ourselves, their full brother Woodstok Rascal Flats ("Reymond"). He's also a really nice big boy and we're keeping him to start undersaddle for my husband to ride. We never got him shown, because of our busy lives. Maybe someday he'll see the showring, if we can figure out how to create more hours in the days of our lives (and I don't mean the 'soap opera'). LOL!

Okay....well....now, back to staring at Rey! Go big girl go!

Update Foxen:
The web cam is now up and running. We are still working on the video streaming portion.

Foxen has a good bag, but she is not quite ready. Her hindquarters have not softened and her abdomen has not dropped. We are just finishing up weaning her off the Regumate and she will be totally off of it on 4/6. She is due 4/26 and I think (knock on wood) she may make it to term! I have an out of town trip planned for this weekend, but will cancel if she looks close.
