black sable = vachtkleurtje volgens mij

Edit: Jups, black sable is vachtkleur. Overwegend zwart dus met lichte accenten (gemakkelijk uitgelegd). Met dank aan de bekende zoekmachine met de G $_/-\o_$

gezien, die ging snel zeg! heb 't nét gemist dat die er uit kwam, was high alert, binnen 1 minuut even kijken en ja hoor, was er al uit.
Misschien komt er nog een 2e, geitjes krijgen meestal meer dan 1 volgens mij??

BG **Buck 2/2** (2-1) Charm (2-4) @ SandersMisfits

Charm is now on cam her ligs are very close to being gone..udder is engorged. Figure maybe this afternoon,tonight?!?! Possibly even tomarrow morning? I've got to get a nap before I fall over. If u see Charm getting up and down, pawing, overly restless (shes eating right now) or pushing please call me. Thank u!
I will get better pics of BG boy this afternoon. He sure is cute! One ear is flopped forward the other flopped backwards. Hes frosted unlike his mom whos solid black. She did much better this time..pushed him most of the way out. I helped ease him out as he is a big boy. Shes passed the afterbirth, Hes nursed (after it took him a good while to figure it out LOL) and now is snuggled under the heat lamp. I'm sorry i have to take him off cam, but charm has progressed fast and I never did order my 8 cam qaud *ugh*. I hope to have moms and babies back on cam soon.

Maggie (2/3) @ Faith Farm & Foaling

Update time for Maggie. . .
Bag is fuller, temp is 99.1, did a ph test on drop of clear milk and it immediately turned the darkest color possible on the scale.
Vet was out today and sewed in a foalert. So be careful not to mistake the small blue foalert device for a sac. It is sometimes difficult to tell the difference on cam. I took her out for a while today and she seemed to enjoy it, rain and all.
Maggie is a sweet mare and our prayers are that she has a perfect delivery and that she and the baby are very healthy.

we are moving Toastie to Cash's stall as she is dripping milk this afternoon, Cash will NOT be on cam.
i have rotating cams, the black screen one is the cam that doesnt work! during the day the cams are off cuz the mares go outside, the cams will be turned on after 4pm CST. we are also having electric blackouts cuz of the Artic Blast weather we are having so the cams may not be on at that time cuz i have to wait till the power comes back on to reboot everything. also, i cannot have the chat opened while the cams are on cuz it freezes up my computer...so just keep tuned in, im sure you will see some interesting foaling this year!

Sorry we were haveing some problems with our cams but they are back up and running (thank you Heather!!!)

Margarita is the one in the bottom right cam... The bottom left cam is NOT a mare in foal so don't worrie about her.

I think margarita is getting close, she has be laying down alot today and very uncomfortable, so he anyone see something happening please dont hesitate to give myslef or Josiane a call..

Charlot continues to progress nicely and at a good clip. She tested 7.0 on the Foal-Time strips, unfortunatly I have never tested her ready before she foaled. The last 2 times she foaled she tested barely at 6.8. It was between 6.8 and 7.0. In 2007 she foaled 8 hrs after testing not ready and in 2009 she foaled 4 hrs after testing not ready.
I am trying the Foal-Time strips this yr (used diff stuff last 2 times) see if they can catch her

Boy is it ever cold here!!!!
Nonee continues to hold on and right now thats a good thing. Its sooo cold day and night..temps tonight will be in the negs!!!! Guess mother nature forgot she's in the south.
Nonee tested 6.8 on the Foal-Time test, which means she can hang out at that stage for days/weeks or change very quikly and foal. Thank You to everyone thats helped keep an eye on my critters!!!!

Ik vermoed dat KZ's baby (elements) niet lang meer op zich zal laten wachten. Af en toe vertoont ze echt van die ongemakkelijkheden! Plassen gaat ook niet meer zo makkelijk :(:)
