Verdorie, computer blijkbaar uitgevallen en addi gemist. Wat jammer, volg haar nu al zo lang. Gelukkig is alles heel goed gegaan. Mooi veulen heeft ze.

So for those that want to know the tendon affected in him is the common digital extensor tendon. It is too short in porportion to his leg bone. Now I have been searchng the net nd have yet to find ANY info on his specific problem. Lots of info on a ruptured common digital extensor tendon but thats not our issue. And any info on contractures of tendons seems to relate to the back tendons being contracted so if you all are out ther looking and you find any info on a problem like Forrest please post the link here. thanks!!

I did go check out those splints but it looks like none of them address Forrests specific problem, hes a unique lil guy I guess! I am convinced the left leg is looking better...not so much on the right though

begrijp ik het nou goed en zijn de pezen op de voorkant van het been te kort?
en ze kunnen wel info over een tekorte pees aan de achterkant van het been? en niet aan de voorkant?

Good Morning all! The Tootsie update is either early or late today...

She's coming along nicely and appears to be right on schedule. She is developing an udder already so I still think she is a little ahead of schedule but only Tootsie and the little bundle know that for sure?

Physically she is getting a little more wax every day but it literally is a TEENY bit each day...the baby is kicking the everloving begeezees out of her and she seems to still be putting on a little bit of weight...initially her weight gain seemed more significant...I am guessing that as we get closer the baby is needing more of those resources...we have changed her food...would love to get thoughts on this because this is our first prego mare in the rescue...to Triple Crown Growth of which she gets 2 3qt scoops a day, with 1/2 to one scoop of TC low starch...she has free hay and we are also throwing in about 6 good size handfulls of TC safe starch forage...This was a recomendation by one of our friends that also breeds, the amounts that is, in an effort to make sure that she continues the weight gain and can keep up with the baby at the same time...also we have her in a paddock with Rye Grass growing so she is grazing about 4-5 hours a day...Your suggestions and reasoning are welcome as we only want what is best for her so close to her due date and also to keep the baby safe!!

I would also like to take a minute and say how very very grateful I am to have been told about marestare...Since joining and becoming a part of the MB and chat my hubby and I have learned so much! We are forever grateful for everyone's help and encouragement!! Thanks again and glad to be around such a great and positive group of people!! We are truly blessed to have you guys!

Butttttttt, we are expecting another bad winter storm to start rolling through on Sunday evening and the weather men are saying that it could be worse than this last one.
Gosh, I've had enough of winter. I want summer to come and to come quickly.

Lovely's bag is getting fuller and she has starting rubbing her bottom a lot. So I assume she is having some pressure from the foal.

Niet dat er echt veel veranderd is maar plaatst het toch maar even

We've made it to day 316. Scarlett's PH has dropped some today and is now at 6.3. Her milk strip test is an immediate 5 squares (the max)and her rump muscles are very soft. She has really kept us on our toes abut I don't think she has read the manual on all the tests. I really don't know if she will foal tonight or hold out. We will be keeping a close watch on her and hope you can help us keep an eye on her. Please don't hesitate to call if you see her acting like she is in labor.
