Update April:
April is a red mare with light mane and tail. We don't have a date for her but her bag is almost full.

Jan and I finally got the cam set up on mare stare and here is the link

You can also click the Michigan Cam link on the message board to view the cam.

The cam is supposed to be on all the time. During the day, the barn is open to the mares and foals. I bring April inside in the evening unless I think she's close.

Please join us in the barn as we wait for this new bundle of boy.. i mean Joy

Update Freckles:
Kim gave me an update on how fredckles has been acting.. said she been laying downa lot which is unlike her for sure at that hour of the day.. So I don;t think she will go too much longer myself.. kinda hope she waits timm monday night though which is the 1st of august and officially my papas birthday.. but who knows she could go past it.. She is broke down really good now and look sto be ready.. now is the foal ready? that is the question..

Her bag is full and ready.. she is not due till Aug 22nd but is going to foal early with this foal I know.. vet checked her out Thursday said she should go before too long.. she could foal tonight, or 2 days from now.. I really can't say right now for sure. Her last foal she had him at 7:30 of the evening she had no signs of foaling at all. just layed down her water broke and there he was.. so like I said she is tricky. Ijusthave to watch her.. when she shows me signs that i feel like foaling will be soon I will post it and do a low alert..

Update Apricot & Shy Ann:
Nothing much has changed since last evening. Both their bags are a bit bigger, fluid a bit thicker, sticker, vulva a bit looser... you get the idea. LOL Their strips are also just a bit higher!
Breezy has now moved to the baby barn for her last month. She's in the stall to the center of Apricot and Shy Ann with her door open. So she'll be coming/going during the night. Her bag is still small.

CC is dripping all over.....I dont think she'll hold off too much longer....maybe she dousnt like "J" months...and wants the first August baby of the 2005 season...ROFL

Freckles is behoorlijk onrustig (schrapen, rondjes lopen) maar ik vind het eigenlijk wel bedtijd voor mijzelf

Update Freckles:
Freckles seems about the same as yesterday, paceing, side biteing alot of tail action and seems very uneasy. She is normally a very loving and sweet mare, but really didn't care too much today for hugs and attention. Wish she would hurry up or should I say wish this foal would hurry up and decide its ready to show itself.

Update Apricot, Breezy & Shy Ann:
Sunday Evening Update On Apricot, Shy Ann, Breezy,, A PG result and a Missy show result..
Ok, first off the two expectant mare's bags are larger but no change in their fluid texture or the Milk strips. Breezy's bag is the same so no change in her.

Did a PG test on Katy today and she is POSITIVE for a May 05 Foal! Will it be another Honey, Tassi or will it be another Missy.....

Speaking of Missy... she took GRAND CHAMPION Jr Mare at the show this weekend! Congratulations to the Bakkers who are her trainers and to her owners the Saunders family! Way to go Miss!

CC staat op een cam waar je voor moet betalen dus dat is wel jammer. Op de public cam van Zalea staat Brownie. Zij is daar als het goed is de volgende die gaat veulenen
