* I did.. I was giveing here time to see what she was going to do. Looks like her water is trying to break now HOPEFULLY it will she had the mucous stuff run out of her when she got up so now all I can do is watch a while see what is going to happen now.. Update Charlotte:
Talked with Dr. Ward he should be out somtime around 4pm today to check Charlotte.. we aren't sure exactly what we are planning on doing just yet until he checks her out I will let Kim know so she can update for me well prbly her mom.. lol first off I am haveing her checked to make sure she is still in foal seeing as she is not very big in her belly.. last time she was checked back in April It hink she was in foal so she should be still.. Then we will go from there.. ok gotta run and keep an eye out for the Doc...

Vet Update:
Well as much as I dont want to do this....

Charlette is NOT in foal. She lost it approx 3 months ago doc Ward said. Her body though is still going thru a false pregnancy. She is also going thru false labor as her body is showing all signs of foaling including a full bag.

Charlette you will be in my thoughts as you go thru the rest of this. I know how much you wanted that baby.

Update Charlotte & Freckles:
Shawn was so devastated over this when I told him this was his foal and had it named even Bubba or Jethro yeah I know men but hey he has been wanting a foal out of her and Cody for 3 years now. Now Cody is gelded so that is not gonna happen.. Cody's owner is shocked to he was so looking forward to this foal being Cody's last and he loves Charlotte heck we all was looking forward to this one. :'( so We are going to wait till next spring find a good stallion we feel would throw what we are looking for from her and try it again, (maybe Zeus) and this time she will not be out int he pasture all the time, coming in at night and probably be watched like a hawk. She is coming in heat right now also this is causing her some distress too but for all she is doing ok her body just has to realize she lost the foal and go back to normal. Thanks so much everyone for your thoughts and prayers.. Dr. ward took a look at Freckles also said she will not go to her due date and could go soon so now to watch her.. I will be takeing Charlotte back to the barn and bringing my other mare Raven to the foaling stalls.. She is due Aug 22nd and seems to be coming along right on schedule. So we still have 2 babies to look forward to.. Just this one was special guess we all have one like Charlotte she is a special mare ot us. Well gonna go catch up on the baord now and rest some, maybe i can catch a couiple nights sleep before Freckles foals..

Update Shoshone:
Finally some news about Shoshone! She is now starting to have a bag. It is not large but definitely beginning to fill. I will test her with the milk strips tomorrow night and let you know the results.

For those of you who are just joining our group, Shoshone foaled last year with no bag and no signs that she was close. By the time the foal was up and ready to nurse she had milk. We have been watching her for what seems like forever this year. We bought her in foal and she was supposed to have been due March 28th. She was pastured with the stallion and she obviously lost the first foal and became pregnant again. We have not had any idea when she was due but were afraid not to watch her closely since we knew last year's foaling history.

This should be one very special foal. Shoshone is a daughter to Stonehenge Painted Feather who is one of AMHA's most famous sires. She is bred to Freelands Fiesta's Imperial Storm. Storm is a tiny (under 28") black and white homozygous stallion . He is an AMHA national top ten champion stallion. We are very anxious to see this baby.

I have no idea how quickly she will progress or even if she will have a full bag when she foals this year. At least we do have some changes starting now.

I update you again tomorrow night.

Hoe gaat dat nu dan verder? Ik bedoel wanneer geeft haar lichaam aan dat ze dus niet drachtig is?
Ik wist wel dat dieren schijnzwanger kunnen zijn, maar ook nog in zo'n laat stadium????

We hebben olly vandaag weer opgehaald, en Als goed is ze nu wel drachtig, alleen van een andere hengst dan liet zien, zal ff foto opzoeken en hier neer zetten ok?
Over 14 dagen word ze weer gescant!!!
Maar als goed is is ze nu 4 dagen drachtig

(Ik hoop het zo he, dat ik ook in 2006 een veulen krijg

Ik dacht dat een merrie over het algemeen wel zo'n beetje alle hengsten accepteert als ze hengstig is, maar dus niet...

ja eigenlijk wel, want in olly zit ook springbloed, tot het ongelukje was ik met olly al einde M springen dus!
Ja olly was vanmdaag naar mij ook niet zo lief, had haar weer ff aan longeer lijn gedaan, en toen was ze me toch aan bokken en stijgeren, dus ze heeft denk echt in haar bol

Kan mij dat heel goed voorstellen, lijkt mij zo ontzettend leuk en spannend als je eigen merrie een veulen krijgt en vooral dan ook nog als je die zelf gaat houden!

Hoop je op een merrie of hengstje? en kleur?
