Hey guys - thanks for watching. The filly was alert and fine at first but quickly went cold and limp on me. Scared the fool out me. I just kept stimulating her, we got a heat lamp going and milked Lily to get a couple of syringes of warm colostrum into her. Then with the blanket and her mommy's milk in her - she came back around quick.
Lily was a little wobbly in her back end and we were concerned that she had hurt herself because she foaled standing and we were still concerned about the filly, so we had Dr. Tim come out and check them over.
Lily is going to need alot of good food (no problem) and she'll pass that along to the foal.
The foal's name is Mulligan's Run Moon Beam (Mom is Moon River Shamrocks Lily) and we're going to call her Luna for the moon.
She's very cute, legs need to straighten out a little, but that'll come with exercise.
Ah, ok, kan niet goed zien of dat nou een deur is of opening ofzo, want aan dat liksteen geval wat aan dat touwtje bungelt te zien tocht het er wel. net bungelde hij nog een beetje harder ( gut wat zeg ik dat raar)
