Ja, dat lees je goed De merrie van de hicks ranch is wel erg onrustig, naweeën?
Addi 341 days, Peaches *286 days* @ Comfert Shetlands I am wearing down fast so I will probably post this and try and lay down for a bit.
Addi is the same. She just wont get with the program, which, actually, right now is fine with me, been pre occupied with Peaches.
Thank you Leah for posting the update, about the regumate, that helped! And thank you to all of you who are watching my girls and helping, it is A HUGE help, I can not thank you enough!!!
When I got home with the regumate, Peaches had white wax on both nipples. It is not there now but she is very full and tight still. She got her first dose of regumate, and then has also been put on banamine now too for inflamation. So, with everything combined, MAYBE things will start to turn around.
I have gone ahead and put her on a guess due date/range. This was calculated using the FIRST CYCLE, instead of the last May 8th date. We still could be much earlier than I hope if the May date is actually when she settled, but I do hope she settled on her foal heat instead of later. **Dont forget, it is absolutely impossible for her to be bred any earlier than April 5th, she FOALED Daisy last year on cam on that date!!
So, last breed date is April 15th. That makes 330 days on 3-11. I then counted back to today, and that puts Peaches at 286 days today. So, we are going to run with that and hope that is about right. The absolute earliest she has ever gone in the past is 329 days and that was last year. I personally do not think anything before 300 days is going to work for us, but I know it has been done, especially in the minis. We have never had any of the shetland mares foal before 311, ever. So, I will be willing to be happy with 300 days, but I dont want to take any earlier than that! Doesnt mean I will get what I want, but I am going to put a cork in it for Peaches and she WILL hold the foal... wish it was that easy. Anyway, that is where we are at. Meds will be continued until I am told to take her off them.
Of course, as usual, if anyone sees anything, or you just think they need checked on in person, please do feel free to call me. Trust me, as tired as I am, I can go back to sleep no problem! 870-429-5407 home 870-688-8675 cell. Thanks everyone! Jill http://www.marestare.com/cam.php?alias=comfert
Ella Riva @ FieldsQH due 2/9/10 Thanks so much....Ella is a little uncomfy tonight. Her legs are beginning to bother her some. I wouldn't be surprised if she shifts her weight a lot or lies down to take the pressure off. She's gotten really large- the scope of her girth doesn't begin to show on cam. http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=fieldsqh
LADYS CONTRADICTION aka 'L' AT FISHHAWK FARMS DAY 351 It's 10:51pm here and I just went down and cleaned L's stall and bedded it. L got very restless for the previous 45 minutes and I've never seen her lie down in that stall until right before I went down to bed her stall. She is warm on her chest and she was breathing heavy when I went down there. First stages of labor maybe?? I hope so! Still, no milk in her bag. The lights will stay on all night. I'll update more if she gets active again. Thanks for watching... http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=fishhawk
Rosa @ Kennedy's Funny Farm (Ezel) UPDATE: Tuesday January 26th 7:30pm
Welcome back on cam Rosa!!!
As you all can see, Rosa has joined Shadow and Scooter in their big comfy stall. And, she is not very happy with me or about being in there at the moment. I expect she'll be a bit antsy and pace at the door. And, I also expect Shadow to be a bit protective of Scooter for a day or so....but, with one cam, this is the choice for right now! Currently it looks like Rosa is pouting in the corner!
Who knows...maybe they will all decide to get along and have a a little later!
Rosa's milk bag is even a bit bigger today....I would say she is more than 1/2 way there now. The muscles in her back end are mush! I don't think tonight is the night, but there is just no telling....so any and all watchers are very appreciated! http://www.marestare.com/cam.php?alias=kennedy
Lacey 1/31 @ Shadow Paints Miniatures change of due date! We are Back lol Acero! lacey has broken blood vessels in her whoohaa.... her milk is like whole milk and is soo sticky that i had to wash my hands afterwards! lol comeon Lacey!!! http://www.marestare.com/cam.php?alias=shadow

Striker(1/18) Unforgettable(2/1) Ace(2/1) Tess (2/6) Wishy(2/16)@MulligansRun Good Evening all, Like Darci stated above we have Tess on cam now to as she is starting to bag up, not much of one but it is there. Wishy is has probably the least progress of anyone, she has not changed much and definitely enjoys her beauty sleep. Ace has a bag and it is slowly starting to fill, I give her another week or so.
Unforgettable and Striker are once again in a race...Strikers bag had gone down yesterday but I think it is starting to fill back up and she has very loose poop. Unforgettable's bag is starting to get tight and fill, and it is filling quick. So, we will see....
CURRENT CAM LINE-UP as of 1/26/10: Cam #1 - www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=mulligan Top Left ~ Striker Top Right ~ Wishy Bottom Left ~ Unforgettable Bottom Right ~ Ace
Aleena Due 1/21 at the Hicks Ranch well her udder is finally to the point where you can see her teats, so thats progress, lol I think we will just be watching Honey tonight.... http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=hicksranch
Ditto (1/19 or 2/28) @ J Bar S Ranch Evening Update! Ok - she has made some progress today! Her bag is bigger - it is tighter tonight - and it is warm. I still don't feel the milk all the way down into the teats, but she could drop it right before foaling. They are definitly tight and uncomfortable as she was a little touchy and she never is. Also - she wanted no part of me looking under her tail tonight. She hasn't had any issues with me checking anything at all and this is the first time there was a little resistance. She is loose and there was a slight opening, but she wouldn't let me look inside. I'm not going to go back out unless she starts getting real uncomfortable and then it will be to do a quick clean and put straw down. Normally I would put straw down already, but Ditto is such a pig in her stall - she poops where she stands and then walks and drags it. If I put straw down now - she would have it a mess in no time. It is right outside the door ready to go down.
I will be watching her closly the next hour. My husband Jr has tomorrow off from work - so if she is ok as the hour goes on, I will lay down and he will watch her for me for the next few hours so I can sleep without waking up every 45 minutes to check her. Ready for her to have it now!
I told her it's time to get this baby out! We all want to see! So many color possibilities!!!!! She is a grulla roan gray. She carries the dun factor, gray gene and is roan!!! Watch... it will be sorrel! Ok - happy watching! Come on Ditto! http://www.marestare.com/cam.php?alias=jbars
